I can confirm that points for Holiday Inn and DT posted for my fiancee's account at approximately 0530 EST this morning. However, when I checked in on my account (less than a minute later) nothing was recorded in my account. If anyone figures out what the issue is please post.

Topguest - additional points for checkins
My check ins for both a doubletree and intercontinental today did not record.

I just got the confirmation email for one Holiday Inn check-in (hours later) but my family member hasn't gotten their email yet.

My checkins for a HI Express and DT this morning both posted to TG. Both done with 4sq.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this. Virgin America did a very short TopGuest promo this month. Double points for check-ins on August 8, with a contest to award elite status to someone who checked in.
Going forward, their elite members will continue to earn double on TopGuest checkins. Guess it gives us hope that something will survive in the future... |

I used this once last year to see what it was. have not used it since. So, I went to the site, typed in the location finder, and checked the hotel from the list at the bottom, and then the popup at the top came on and I put 'share the location'. Is this correct to get this to work for the 50 points? It will post if you are actually at this location listed, correct? |

Recently, I've found I do get the email and points post for PC - I usually check in once or twice a week depending on if I'm traveling or in London. HHonors points have not done so in a while now.

no problems getting priority club points. email comes within seconds of a check in. Latest one was about an hr ago.

I'm just speculating, but my guess would be that if points aren't posting but you can still access the TG account and you are still getting the e-mail, your account isn't suspended. But, I have no experience with warning letters, etc. Maybe others can speak to what happens when you get put on the blacklist.
I'd like to think there is some sort of temporary glitch, but it's odd to me that it's affecting multiple programs. Have confirmed at least three across some friends. |
The topguest website was down for a few hours back 2-3days ago at night, thought the point posting issues would be resolved after it came back online but now all the programs stopped posting.

I was suspended last spring after "checking in" 4 or 5 times a week. I received an email to which I replied and was told it was temporary. Apparently though it's permanent because still I try and receive no points.

I'm sure I wasn't missing that many points, so no idea what's going on. Haven't received HHonors points since 8/27. As far as accounts getting suspended, do you use foursquare regularly? It might be that if you don't, it seems like you're only checking in at those places so they don't believe you're actually there. Just guessing... don't really know. |
It is well documented in this thread that topguest is sporadic in posting points to your accounts. We've all experienced it and eventually they then show up in clumps. They also have issues where emails are delayed, sometimes for days. Neither of these mean there is anything wrong, they just seem to be run by a barrel of monkeys...
