Thanks OP :-:

ended up pulling the trigger for myself, in the wee hours of the morning
RDU-ZRH over Labor Day Weekend, $322 ai. Sweeeeeet
routing via ATL, out bound, JKF inbound.
Don't really collect DL\NW miles, so the JFK bonus is kinda moot for me and the 767 hoepfully is better

probably will credit to miles to CO anyhow at a 50% penalty

Just checked with that orbiting website. SBN - MAD for dates in August is $261.5 AI.

DL.com is inconsistent

I have had mixed results with this one. Trying to visit cousins in MAD.

First came up at $415 ai on delta.com.

Went to orbitz, came up as $211 ai.

Back to DL and came up as $211.

Oct 1-5 for a long weekend...TPA-MAD...$426 ai for two of us! Can't beat it!

lmao! That will never work. Delta never pays out that guarantee.

I've been finding the same problem. The kicker is also that other sites seem to be inconsistent as well.

Orbitz wanted more than $600 for LAX - BCN
PL came back with $299.

TravelZoo email just hit at 11:07am

Anyone not booked yet may want to make it quick:

Summer is the ideal time to travel across Europe. Delta slashed fares from New York City to Europe, making traveling abroad more affordable. Travel June 15 - Aug. 30 for as low as $209 each way. Not only do the fares beat the prices offered by competing airlines, but the routes are nonstop.

Here's a sampling of some of the fares, based on a roundtrip purchase found at Delta.com.

Fly roundtrip from New York City (JFK) to:

Frankfurt ... $209
Dublin ... $219
Zurich ... $239
Brussels... $269
Lyon ... $329
The best rates are available when flying Monday-Thursday, and some routes were even lower than the advertised price. A Saturday-night stay is required. Book at least seven days in advance and be sure to book by June 15.

BOS-ZRH

I booked BOS-ZRH for labor day weekend. $279 per pax! I love Flyertalk. Thanks so much to the OPs. Looking at some of the other cities not in Spain (been there recently) listed and not having much luck.

Damn...had WAS to FCO for 370 last night over Turkey Day weekend with a connection at JFK, that less than 24 hrs later is no longer there! Anyone see anything comparable? Thanks!
