Just got my email too. Offering to change my flight to economy or cancel the ticket. Looks like it's definitely over. Anyone who purchased with DL heard anything?

Virgin E-mail Received

My reservation was now notified. Veterans in this experience (only second time not honored for me personally) suggest to go via the credit card as oppose through the airline directly for a refund?

They can call me, I'm not responding to the email. Currently reservation legs listed twice, Economy & Business.

Go to the airline. They are prompt with refunds.

My thoughts exactly CDKing! Why can't they call me to cancel?

Cheers for the response. I was reading earlier opinion in the thread to "let the card company duke it out with the airline." The last time, I went via an OTA, thus, it took forever. It was the nefarious Düsseldorf-Florence. Lol.

Well I may backtrack then and just say use the credit dispute wisely. I would give VA the benefit of the doubt, but if you don't see a refund in a week or so pull the trigger on a CC dispute. I just use it sparingly.

Well I just got the expected email about my VA booking...terrible at taking their time. I am really curious what DL ticketed people are getting. If you guys get to hold that's great. Let us know so I can complain to the local media here if that is the case to give VA some bad press on how this has been handled....when this happened 12 months ago for the Y tickets they were happy enough to honor them....and got associated good press coverage here.
