Numb3rs - How did you manage to book the MNL stopover? Struggling to make that work without the price skyrocketing - any advice would be much appreciated...

I don´t think that´s an issue as the ticket is fully flexible. You can add them later.

Do multi city booking on Expedia and land in Manila on a Wednesday and leave Sunday. Alternatively you can land in Manila on a Friday and leave Monday. Any other combination didn't price it for me.

Just warning people. It may all be nothing but there's no guarantee PR will honour a mistake fare.

How long do you guys think we need to wait to call PR to make seat assignments? I am flying early August, but want to ensure I get an aisle seat in the middle two seats, to ensure nobody climbs over me on the 14-hour long-haul flight....
Is anyone flying earlier?

It appears that there will be no episode VIII

The deal looks to be cooked. Now can't find it on any OTA's.

Oh well, I was hoping that the fare would creep/roll into June 2017, for when I have a UK commitment. I'll have to settle for a early adventure (booked) in May ..... Damn inconsiderate, I'd say

Don't Call the Airline!

Assuming this is indeed a mistake fare (although I can't see how it wouldn't be), it should be pulled in due course. After that, and once you have an e-ticket number, it should be ok to call PR for a seat assignment. Hopefully enough FT-ers have booked so that we can get some data points on whether the bookings will be honoured.

BTW, I'm booked for September and seem to have been pre-assigned an aisle in the middle block, so maybe you've gotten lucky as well.

Couldn't you just change the dates as it's flexible fare?

Maybe after you've flown the first segment. Changing dates after this fare has been pulled and nothing has been flown generally causes repricing.
