  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Just a reminder to posters: if you could avoid putting the body of your post or other important information in the title, it would be appreciated. Not only is it good FT etiquette, FTers using the mobile app cannot see the title without having to click through.

Thanks!

I would be a bit cautious. I saw one of these "I" fares a few months ago and when I inquired with PK, they said they used "I" for coach. I am a bit skeptical, but didn't have the chance to do any more validation.

If you could book it on their website, assign a J seat, and get documentation (receipt, eticket, etc) for a business class r/t, I might bite.

The fare rules quote:
CLASS OF SERVICE
THESE FARES APPLY FOR BUSINESS/ECONOMY CLASS SERVICE.

This might as well be Business as Economy service...

This is just informational general text which has no obligations. Even if this part says 'first class' actual class of service will depend on where the specific booking class is booked for the publishing airline and industry fare type for secondary airlines.

I'm able to price out the 'I' on my corporate booking tool (Egencia), but it says it's a coach fare. However the current business class fare showing on the PK website is 'S'...and Egencia says that 'S' is coach too.

Why go DFW-LIM when you can go ATL-LIM (via DFW) for the same price?

Kind of depends on what you do, but if you want to go to CUZ, I think ATL prices higher than in DFW.

Surprisingly, EF doesn't show it. Only the MH website shows it.

Great find! I tried to plug in different origin and it looks like ex-HKG is the cheapest. Interestingly, for all origins the fare is priced at local currency (HKD for ex-HKG and SGD for ex-SIN) except ex-RGN, which is priced under USD.
