Any of the hotels in or around Union Square will do. I'd love to check out the Marriott Union Square if anyone can find a rate that will beat $173. Thanks for the help.

Trying to find a better rate for any Salt Lake City Marriott brand hotels for April 4th check-in for one night. Can't find anything under $112 and that is using my AAA card.
Also looking for any help with any Marriott brand hotels in SLC checking in April 26th for two night and for Springhill Suites, Cedar City, UT for a single night on April 28th.
Thanks in advance for any help with the rates.

Looking to stay at the Ottawa Marriott the weekend of April 7-9. Best I'm getting is $139/night advanced purchase. Will be using my Visa cert for one of the nights, so basically need a lower rate for one of those nights. Thanks!

What's gone wrong with the LNF team?!
During the past 24 hours I received rejections to 6 LNF claims linked to different reservations and compared to rates on the same "comparison site", which I had been using with total success in the past two years (more than 15 successful LNF claims).
The same attempts during the past 24 hours, however, resulted in five declarations of *failure to find* the "comparison" rate reported by me (although I sent web address links and screenshots) by different LNF staff and two exotic rejections, one based on currency fluctuations (although I was referring to huge rate differences) and the other based on a rate on the "comparison" site which *I* never found or could access.
It seems to me the LNF staff are looking at a censored version of my "comparison site" or at least I cannot find another explanation (I cannot believe 6 different people would be lying to me or would be unable to click on web links...)
Or, maybe the new Marriott management has decided to ask the LNF team to pander to the customer-service level of the BRG programmes of the likes of Accor, for example?
Have you had such an experience with your LNF claims recently? Any suggestions how to address the situation (complain? to whom?) will be welcome! The much lower, "comparison" rate is still readily accessible on the "comparison" web site.

I have an impression that the LNF team is not doing their jobs properly, but I think it's more that they are incompetent and not bothering rather than the IHG/Choice type.
I have had wrong denials, e.g. they denied me for a property in San Francisco for using perpaid voucher - they said, 'for properties outside the US.....' Come on it's SF!
Anyway, whenever I get these wrong messages, I double checked the website (if they couldn't find the rate, which happened a handful of times), and if it's still there, then I'll write back to tell them to verify the rate again. Usually the claim gets through after I wrote to them.
Once they calculated my LNF rate wrong and they refused to change it. So I made another reservation and then filed another claim and got it.

My impression is that screenshots don't mean anything to them. They don't help find find the rate themselves, and they don't consider it sufficient proof that the rate is still bookable.
So I never bother with screenshots.
Instead, I don't give just the website. I give step-by-step instructions on how to look up the rate. For example, at one site, I noticed that one some days it doesn't find the hotel "by locaiton", but it has a "search fby hotel name" feature, and that always works. So I explained to the LNF team (in the comments fields) how to do the search that way. Next, thiis site shuffles the name of the hotel around, and so it doesn't show up alphabetically where someone (who knows the correct name of the hotel) might expect. So, again, I explain this in the comments. THen the site gives dates in a European format (day/month). Again, I explian this in the comments. Then the site has confusing cancellation terms, so I just simplify and explain that the site's rates are refundable (they are) just like at marrott.com. (That seems to make them gloss over a maybe slighlty different cut-off date for refundable cancellations.) At other sties where the terms are hard to find, I explain how to click what to get to the terms.
Ie, I never expect the site name alone to be enough for the LNF foks, and I don't think screenshots of the final rate display help a single bit. But I guide them along so that if they follow the instructions they cannot possibly fail to find the rate. And it seems to work every time (except, of course, if I use a third-party site where the rate really can disappear very quickly).
