* - some report that MR told them this is not a valid promotion option

If You Did Not Receive an Offer
... And then there are a number of people who (as in every MegaBonus cycle) have not had any version of this promo show up in their account. You can try concating Marriott to fix that (and an interactive method such as a phone call may be more likely to succeed than a non-interactive method like email).

Once You Get a MegaBonus
... Once you call or email Marriott and are given a MegaBonus, it will take several days to show in your account. Be patient.

If Your Were Granted a Change to Your MegaBonus Offer
... Your old MegaBonus offer will continue to show on the Marriott site. The agent you spoke to noted your account and will usually make the adjustment about a week after the MegaBonus period ends. If the adjustment is not made by then, call Marriott Rewards and they will adjust it manually for you.

Today is the day to call the elite line if you want to switch promotions. I just called, switched, and points posted immediately.

Same here. I emailed, received a quick response shortly afterwards that points would post within 24 hours, and checked the account a few minutes later to find the points were there. Quick and easy.

What do you mean by "call the elite line and switch promotions"? I am a PP and when I check my account it says "no promotions available, check back soon". Not sure I understand about getting points into your account right away. Can you clarify?

If you were not automatically enrolled call, see what your default promo is. If you don't like it ask to switch. This is true for every MB.

Oh, I get it now. Based on the offer that just ended today. Not the new promo that's coming out next week. Already called about that and points were deposited.

I left this to really late to switch and now the call centers are closed. For email, did you guys just to the generic email form on the Marriott site or is there a different one to use?
Thanks.

It was a while back, but I believe I did use the form on the site to make the initial request.

Yes, general email works fine when I changed in previous promotions. I actually prefer it as they respond via email and I have a copy of the response in case their adjustment post-promotion did not process.

This thread you're in is about the "fall 2015" bonus that ended yesterday. There is a separate thread about the promo that's coming out next week:

This. I'm much more comfortable having a paper trail for this sort of thing than just having a verbal discussion and hoping it sticks later on.

Hmmm. Maybe I should call. Usually it takes a while, as long as couple of weeks, for the changed offers to post properly.

Did you take the auto offer or are you waiting for a manual adjustment?

Manual adjustment, which I was told would be done Monday. Oh well. I'll wait another day and then call.
