if you walk across the main road from the Sheraton I do believe there is a pub kind of place (which I think is a chain) that has OK (and just OK) food and should be open. Alternatively in the Sheraton itself is the aptly named "Someplace Else" which has American food and usually stays open fairly late and has good bands from time to time. "Someplace Else" is typically considered to be a pub and the prices are reasonable and the service good. It is from time to time quite lively as well.

For the OP w/ the upcoming Warsaw stay. . .

Folk Gospada - check it out - been to a lot of restaurants, formal and informal, expensive and inexpensive, and FG takes the cake as one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, anywhere.

It's walking distance from the Westin, and about a 3 minute cab from the Sheraton. Walkable from Bristol.

I've got to commit to either the Sheraton or the Westin for a three-week work trip. It sounds like either will be just fine. Any thoughts to help me choose?

- Work only. Work site is accessible by public transport from either.
- I don't Lounge much and don't drink at all. Breakfast bowl of fruit is about all I need.
- I really don't care about suite upgrades or wi-fi.
- Quiet. Need quiet.
- I don't eat in restaurants or do any nightlife.
- Public transport access is important. Grocery store too.
- Fitness center also very important.

The Westin's cheaper, so that's the direction I'm leaning. I'm "low-maintenance", but three weeks is a real commitment.
Thanks.

I stayed at all 3 properties last time I was there. All are within walking distance of each other (no more than 15 mins). I would spend a week at each to change it up.

With all due respect to Warsaw, unless you have very close family or pressing work commitments there- I wouldn't spend 3 weeks in Warsaw (written by someone who spent more than 3 weeks in Warsaw)- for those who develop a love for Poland the other large city is far nicer.

Road warrior said he was there for 3 weeks for work. I was there for 3 nights and changed every night. 3 BRGs = 6000 bonus pts.

I liked them all.

LM for location.
Sheraton for lounge even though it was furthest out.
Westin for lounge, buffet breakfast and not a bad location.

At the Westin I had a corner room at the end of the corridor (I think it's called "Westin Guest Office") which was very quiet.

Isn't there a limit of 1 BRG per week?

I think the guy's there for business.

FWIW, what about Le Bristol? I'm aware it's probably too expensive for a biz trip, but it may be worthy of some consideration.

For business I find the Sheraton with lounge access is the best option.

The Westin Warsaw is currently under $50 a night - extraordinary. Is it Europe's cheapest Starwood hotel?

I noticed the rates drop on the weekends, so it's great if you're there for the weekend holiday.

Hi EuropeanPete,

I hope you don't mind but could you please send me a Private Message with the dates you have checked?

I would like to double check on this rate.
