Welcome to the club... Expect to be told "8-12 weeks" when you call in... Good luck seeing your points anytime before at least 16-20 weeks... :td:

I received my 10,000 sign-up bonus points a couple days after the first statement closed. I am being told I'll need to wait 8-12 weeks after the first six months ended to receive the additional 15,000 bonus points.
If you can wait, you'll be better off waiting to transfer to AA until you have at least 20,000 points. Then you'll get the additional 25% transfer bonus. |

Not good, was hoping to see them before that so I could transfer to AA for a upgrade I wanted.
Amex SPG is 50/50, half of people get their bonuses first statement, others take 8-20 weeks or longer  |

Plus a bonus I signed up for 1,000 points for first stay, 2,000 for second and so on, dont know how long that will take to post, but I should be well over 20.000 by my next statement, thanks |

If you want AA miles to post quickly per a CC bonus, get a citi AA credit card... The bonuses post at the end of the first statement like clockwork... ^

Yes, I crossed the $15,000 threshold in the sixth month. It didn't post then so I called CS. That's when they told me it would post in 8-12 weeks, and basically, don't call back until 12 weeks have past. Now 4 weeks and counting.:(

I've just had my first statement close this past week and I've paid off the one charge I put on it.
How long until I get my 10K sign-up bonus? |
Like technique says, it's a crap shoot. Some get it within days, some wait 8-12 weeks.

Fast for me!
Signed up for this card in December. First statement closed on 01/10/2008. Miles posted to AA on same day!

I signed up for the *wood business card this month after signing up for the *wood personal card in September.
I signed up 2-3 days in advance of the $15,000/15,000 point spending bonus. I called AX last week and they said I would get the 10,000 point sign-up bonus AND the 15,000 point for spending $15,000 in the first six months bonus. (Two different agents on 2 different days confirmed and wrote it into my record.) The 10,000 point sign-up bonus is due to hit the end of the month. So it looks like you SHOULD get both, EVEN IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY RECIEVED BONUS *WOOD POINTS FOR YOUR PERSONAL CARD. Thanks very much for the info. Answered my question exactly. |
