Since this is a new issue, they're now allegedly updating front of line customer service staff so they can convey the situation to customers that call.

Points should post 1 month late right now. Meaning if you were owed points on August 30th, it should post September 30th instead. Waiting to see if this is what happens as I am due my points in 4 days.
Encountered the exact same delay issue. August points (due on Aug 10th) were finally credited two days ago, while September points (due on Sep 10th) are still not shown.

For the Amex Business card, it's 5x points for Marriott properties spend, 2x for everything else except it's 3x points for gas, dining, and travel. I read their T&C's on definition of "travel" and it only states flights, trains, etc. so appear to implies other hotel brands are not included for 3x points. So, if card used at a non-Marriott property (ex. Hyatt, Hilton, etc.), then it's 2x points and not 3x points defined as travel. Is this correct understanding?

Just got the new card last night. Is there a new type of credit card material? It feels weird, not embossed.... It looks fake haha.

Yeah, it feels really cheap, like one of those cardboard ones some companies send out in promo mailings.

I'm still waiting for my Sep points to post. As in previous months I called Amex to report that they hadn't posted. Amex told me how many points they had sent to Marriott and gave me a reference number. This time when I called Marriott the rep kept insisting that he could do nothing and that I needed to take it up with Amex. Only after being told 3 times that in previous months his fellow call centre reps had been able to submit a case at Marriott which eventually resolved the issue would he agree to check further. He then saw the previous cases and submitted one for this occurrence. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for the points to post.

I wish Marriott would do a better job of clueing their call centre reps in about what is going on. A fix to the problem of points from their branded Amex failing to post would be even better.

Got my free night

My free night cert posted Nov 27!

Reset date is Sept 26.
Annual fee posted Oct 24.

Oddly enough (or maybe not), all 3 dates are identical to last year's.

Have both the Canadian Personal and Business Bonvoy Amex and both converted from SPG Amex.

For my personal, annual fee posted Apr 24 and free night posted Jun 13.
For my business, annual fee posted Aug 24 and have yet to receive the free night cert yet.. I also did not get one last year since I missed the cut-off date for when the free night cert begins..

Tried calling Amex last week as it was past the 12 week mark and they said an investigation needs to be opened with Marriott as they dont see the Certs on their system...

A bit frustrating...

My points have historically posted within a few days. When my November poits were not present after 10 days I emailed [email protected] and they were [osted within 24 hours. I have found that particular email to be really efficient at resolving any issues I have had with the Bonvoy program.

Great to know. I got the run around after calling in, after which the rep simply hung up the phone on me
Will try this email if I have a delay again.

Can anyone help with a frustrating Bonvoy Amex transfer ?issue

My Bonvoy Amex monthly spend point transfers usually get done around the 14th of each month. They are generally automatic and show up in my Bonvoy account within a day or two. On Feb 14th Amex transferred my points for the month. I noticed because the point amount was larger than usual given that I used my Amex to pay for our Aruba timeshare maintenance fees, which equated to over 19,000 points. These points never made it to my account. I have gone back and forth between Bonvoy and Amex Bonvoy with each side passing the buck to the point where last week I got both Amex and Bonvoy on the phone together and Bonvoy was presented with a transfer record locator from Amex. I have been subsequently told to check back in 5 business days twice which I've done to no avail, and now we're back to where we started with both sides passing the buck yet again. Does anyone have ideas as to how to rectify ? Given the non unique nature of the tranfer it should be done by now, and all Im hearing is "we dont know what the problemm is)

Hi Legalbee,

We would like to help look into the AMEX bonus points if you could provide your Marriott Bonvoy account number to us via private mail here or by email below.

I presume you’re from Ontario, Canada, and not Ontario, California? I didn’t get my points either this month for my Cdn Amex. They’ll show up eventually.
