i am logged in to the app (or so it seems) but none of my future reservations are showing up. sigh...

Are you sure which account survived? Once the accounts are combined, the "from" account is disabled. When I first tried combining the website was insisting to move my SPG data to MR which was not what I wanted. Had I not been paying attention I would have been stuck with my MR account that had a leading zero that has been reported as being an issue with the new website. Try accessing your other account and see if it's shutdown too.

I was checking my W Maldives reservation last night. Not only did I get a new confirmation #, my award stay turned into a cash stay. Hoping this is only an error.

I sent an email to Customer Care and this was thier response:

"Indeed we've experienced a few setbacks with our website currently and our website design team is actively working to resolve the matter. We currently do not have access to any accounts at this time. We do not currently have a time frame as to when it will be resolved however, if you require assistance with a reservation, I would suggest that you contact us at 1-800-721-7033 or try again later today"

Unfortunately this goes beyond just the internet if it's causing issues for their own people too. One would think defending the core systems would be paramount. And I don't think it's unreasonable safe guards be in place to keep the business running. Who was allowed to release untested code for internal use?

Online reservation system for cancelling stats is down. Tried to cancel two nights and no notice or anything online. Had to do the Facebook chat to find out. Moved seven nights to Hyatt. Next trip I am not even going to bother with checking on Starriott. Something has to change. Enough is enough
