One thing I would like to add, if your into it, they have an absolutely wonderful cognac collection there, including a tasting of them, along with the map in France of where they are all from, with some nice notes on each of bottle. …
It’s such a nice way to finish off any evening in Paris if you’re staying there or even if you’re not.

The Prince de Galles made me feel like a prince for sure - a true luxury offering, through and through. Here are my pros, cons, and photos:
Pros:
Pros:
- Upgraded to the Suite Or (or Suite d'Or), which is a Vice Presidential Suite after successfully clearing SNAs to a Macassar Suite - this move showed up the night before arrival
- Suite was ready in the early afternoon when I arrived
- The suite is massive and golden - a very luxurious feel - living room, dining room, large desk with working iMac, large bedroom with separate seating area and desk, large side foyer with lots of closets, large bathroom with soaking tub
- The bed was fantastic - plush mattress, plush covers, plush pillows - just what you want and expect from a Luxury Collection and their Frette linens
- Shower pressure was good
- Loved the bird tile design in the shower
- Toiletries smelled really nice
- The iMac was a fun throwback - all the way to Mojave - I used it as a speaker for some solo dance parties in my large suite
- Service was very friendly - escorted to my room, walked out and given walking directions to my next hotel, they really wanted to know how I liked my stay, where I had gone to dinner, etc.
- Elite breakfast was very good
- Small buffet with very good pastries, including some delicious chocolate croissants
- A la carte eggs Benedict were good
- Good barista coffees
- Waffles were so light and really tasty
- Welcome gift was some candied jellies, which is not my preference for a sweet treat
- Had to leave suite by Noon - offered a standard room to rest in until 4, which I didn't take but appreciated (understand as there is only one of these suites)
- Not much

As I enjoyed the bed quality, shower quality, and breakfast, I think it would have still been a nice stay.

I'm still here and the breakfast experience is inexplicably bad. And I can't remember the last time I feel like I need to comment on breakfast.
The restaurant is 1/3 full when I started and almost full when I'm done.
The Good:
- Hot Chocolate is fantastic. I can pay for breakfast here just to drink the bottomless hot chocolate.
- The cold cuts and fruits and especially the pastry are of very nice quality.
Things I'm less enthusiastic about:
- Coffee is Nespresso. I'm willing to pay more to get proper coffee if that is an option.
- I was seated and no one came to ask me about egg dishes and drinks, so I just went to get food from buffet and waited and waited... then I asked them about it.
- They took away my half finished drinks and cutlery even though I was just wandering around in the buffet waiting for the egg dish which took something like 20 minutes.
- And again they didn't care enough to give me water.
- About half a dozen fruit flies gathered on the cheeses. Maybe unavoidable given the seasonality. I'm not in Paris often enough to know if that's the case.
- The egg is HARD in the egg benedict.

Too many to name, you will have no shortage of options within a short walk… One we really like, chez francis, is at the end of George ave before you get to the river.. About a 2 minute walk when you come out of hotel and head right toward the river. It’s across the street from the wonderful pistachio shop, that you also have to visit if you like those kinds of snacks..

Spent 3 nights at the Prince de Galles last week (early December). Used SNAs and was upgraded to a very large Macassar suite 5 days before arrival. We were on the 1st floor (one up from the ground) with a view of George V. No issues with noise from the street or adjoining rooms. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very professional and attentive. Breakfast (complimentary for Titanium) was surprisingly good both in quality and variety, and the service was excellent. The gym was also very nice.

Stayed here last weekend and left feeling a little underwhelmed.
Booked the basic room and did not get upgraded - I know it's subject to availability, but also no welcome gift in the room or anything to make me feel appreciated as a Titanium member. Again, first-world problems, but I got more recognition at the Courtyard Gare de Lyon...
Room itself was very good and comfortable, and I liked the breakfast: I don't eat lots in the morning, so the set option with eggs made to order was perfect. Coffee was the only low point - very watery and weak.
Late check-out was given without any issues and reception/door staff are super friendly.
Not sure if I would return. I'd probably go back to the Marriott Champs-Elysees nearby which is a lot cheaper but offer a very similar experience in my opinion.

I also had a recent stay last month as a Titanium and was extremely underwhelmed by the service and treatment.
Check-in didn't go smoothly, front desk and related services wouldn't help me book some hotel services and told me to call the departments themselves to set them up, no welcome gift besides the bare minimum breakfast vs. points (when others have previously reported hand-written notes, little gifts like macarons, or even half bottle of champagne/wine), minimal room upgrade (also got a horrible room with bad view + low floor) despite multiple better rooms available and refusal to allow me to move to a better room midway through my stay, cold front desk staff.
I have had better service and felt more welcomed at the Cleveland Fairfield and the "cheap" low-to-mid-tier hotels in NYC.
