Arrow Prince De Galles, Luxury Collection, Paris, France [Master Thread]

I'm staying there right now and in fact writing this from my room that i just checked into. In short it has been entirely redone and is completely brand new compared to pre-renivation. The room interior is immaculate with dark marble throughout. Lobby and eateries also redone and excellent. I will post a more thorough review soon!

Thank you DLFlyer16. Have been waiting to hear about the renovations. Quick question, any idea if the Concierge Staff still includes Jean Pierre and Nicolas? Have a wonderful time in Paris.

I wanted to stay there last night, but it was 840EUR which is just too much for me. I'd probably do the Park Hyatt if I was going to have a blow-out.

WOW! that is for a standard room? I hope it readjusts in a year to a cat 6, but that is probably wishful thinking with room rates like that.

thanks for the update DLflyer16. Will probably try it out my next trip to Paris instead of PH Vendome. Had a great stay at PdG 3 years ago on NYE when I was upgraded to a top-floor suite. Glad to see it has gone through a beautiful remodel.

All of Paris is ridiculously priced right now due in big part to the French Open.

In a bigger part due to it simply being Paris.

Yeah, but there is a significant price drop after the tennis is over at most hotels here.

I got a price for 640 on beatthetimer for a short time...
Great line up at Roland Garros today, Sunday
Still think the breakfast at LM beats it all..

No that was PdG, which is not justified and not value for money when compared to the other SPG hotels in paris. Novelty not practical for that price or 840 for that matter...

Anywhere to find the square footage (or square meterage) of the regular Art Deco room? Considering this property for an upcoming trip but want to compare it to one in the Marriott family based on room size. Unlike Marriott, Starwood doesn't seem to list this on its website, but perhaps it's hiding somewhere?
