Do not create too many accounts too fast. Some reports of account shutdown when same SSN used across multiple cards / accounts in a short period of time.

Well it's been over 3 full weeks since I filled out my online application for the Nationwide Buxx card, I guess it's not coming. Time to move on - and apply for the USBank one.

US Buxx card is on its way. Now a question...
"Parent A" (me) has ordered and funded a card for "Teen B" (my wife).
Can "Parent B" (my wife) order and fund a card for "Teen A" (me)?
It appears that there's no age checking (my beautiful wife is youthful, but she is not a "teen" - and it seems that went through just fine).
Has anyone tried to set up 2 reciprocal accounts like this?

EDIT: From my experience, NW Visa Buxx is the only card that allows you to open it under your name w/o an extra "teen" at the time of a first time account opening

Can you get one for each visa buxx supplier (sandy spring, US bank, Navy and pay jr?). Also can the spouse do the same and use each other as our "teens" even though we are middle aged miles-a-holics?

You would have 2 cards, yourself and SO.
Your SO would have 2 as well, SO and you.
Total of 4 cards for 2x account limit?
My logic currently is one accountholder/username holds two cards, self & SO. (I am doing this)
EDIT: If yes, the part where SO opens SO and you, then that part I am not certain.

Just throwing it out there but is it possible to add a not-so-legit new teen with not-so-legit credentials? I'm guessing they may catch on to it...?
Also for ATM withdrawals when does the week start?

When loading Nationwide VB today for $500 the payment was not accepted. First time this had ever happened. At first could not understand why, as plenty of available credit - or so I thought.
It appears that loading visabuxx (with a Chase card), at first, uses the CASH ADVANCE credit limit - rather than your overall credit limit - very much the same way as when loading Wells Fargo Prepaid.
As I had loaded WFPP earlier today, the extra $500 trying to load Visabuxx took me over my CASH ADVANCE credit limit, and therefore the payment was not processed.
I had never bothered to look before if when loading Visabuxx the cash advance available temporarily went down, before being converted to a purchase (like WFPP). I can now assume this is exactly what must have happened with previous loads.

Cash back/ATM with NW Visa buxx card
I read somewhere in the blog that NW visa buxx card has very strict limit on the cash withdraw from its card, max $200 per week, which includes the cash back from grocery store and ATM withdraw. Can you guys confirm this? Thanks a lot!

OMG - my thread on teen cards will become a teen itself; it's almost 10 years old !
Sadly the world (and myself) had changed since: I no longer have a time and patience to reply to the same question on every page; nor would I dare to post any worthwhile new info due to proliferation of bloggers feeding off this board.
Gook luck to those who persevere through

Yes, load is initially categorized as CA in pending state (thus amount must within CA limit), before settling down as purchase, this is reported as the case for WF/Buxx.
