DP: Vanilla gift card (activated, balance checked and PIN changed) did not work for Discover load for $475 of $500 balance. I think the cashier said something about "tender". Card was immediately blocked and needs to be replaced. BIN 4097 58 (Pathward/Incomm)

With these card failing randomly is unacceptable. Has anyone tried to get an ACH/Check for a blocked card instead of a replacement?

Working with Discover load? I read that one can change between debit and credit transaction. Is that something I can do myself? All my CSR barely know what they are doing it seems

Just did back to back load for $500 each, 2 transactions with the Vani cards issued by pathward, serviced by incomm. Bought the cards, wait 1+ hours, swiped and used random 4 digits.

$0 to load @ WM. I have the Serve Green card. I've had this card a long time.

So normally, by defualt the last 4 of the card are the PIN unless you change it. so how are you able to use random 4 digits?

Pin is set after first use.

You're both right. BHN is last four of card. InComm is whatever random pin you use first time. Both allow you to change it online.
