What portal is currently offering the highest payout for GCM?
Check cashbackmonitor and cashbackholic for current payouts. Be sure to review the T&C for GCM at each portal as some offer lower payouts for Visa GCs.

Amex gift cards cannot be used to buy Visa gift cards

VGC issued by metabank. Cards come activated.

-------------------------

Monthly Limit is 15K per GCM account for a revolving 30 days. Once you hit 15K, GCM will display a message on the screen letting you know you hit the limit.

Start out slow 1k and then another 1k - they will call to verify the card, and shipping address. Next order they will not call. Orders under 2k have free shipping.

If you get this error:

This transaction was not completed. The transaction was not submitted correctly, or has been declined by your card issuer. You can try again with a different card or review your payment information for any necessary corrections.

- A Few people report it is blocked for the day, try again the next day. MOST ppl report being permanently blocked. Or you entered a wrong 3-digit security number.
GCM recommends using the Chrome or Firefox browsers. Be sure you are not using an ad blocker and not disabling any cookie settings (3rd party, tracking, etc.) from the default or you may get this error.

Direct support Numbers is 877.426.2551

Warning: Orders can be lost or stolen. Call to have the cards reissued or canceled. Orders usually arrive in 5-10 days.

Check your cc for pending or posted payments and call about your order if you are concerned it is taking a long time for delivery. Sometimes GCM was taking up to 2 weeks for delivery.

I will stick with TCB and GCM, since gc.com is down to 1%. Too bad you can't use Discover on GCM.

Why 4 x 499.5? Is that the limit to get 4/order with free shipping?

Yea that 4th one had to be $476 a couple of months ago to get the free shipping. I guess that's changed.

I don't mind doing small orders with $500 on each card, it makes it easier to remember and it stands out less than telling the WM cashiers you'll now swipe 499.5 or other odd amounts. But, after having a couple of orders not show up I might have to consider doing big orders and paying for shipping.

My guess is someone at Blackhawk or USPS pocketed them, I don't recall missing any other pieces of mail in the many years I've been at the same address, and I also get USPS informed delivery (they were never scanned). GCM said they'll refund the orders, didn't say what actually happen to the cards (1st level reps, prop didn't have access to that info) but I had to wait until it had been 15 business days after the delivery date before they'd process the refund and they said the refund can take up to 1-2 weeks.

JCD, how did you get 499.5? I couldn't do non whole numbers.

3 x $500 + $498, fees don't count towards the 2k limit to get free shipping.

duh!

I thought I tried 3x500 + 499 before but still didn't get free shipping so I thought the whole order needed to be under 2k.

now it looks like it works.

oh well, I will do 1999 on my next order.

This week I made 2 simultaneous $1.5k orders on giftcardmall via TCB. One came in at 2%, the other 1%. Not the first time this has happened. Anyone else had this happen? Is it a function of the type of visa gift card, or what? Can't figure what what the heck is going on with the cashback percent.

Did you order different types of cards, or what (did you do differently)?

1999 triggers mandatory shipping expense, 1998 doesn't...
