If you do the 3x 308.95 with 2 5 Backs you are going to end up with a bunch of cards just under $100 so you going to need a way to liquidate those. Unless you are very lucky I would never try and buy MOs using those. I think better options are 1 x 308.95 and then use the remaining to buy a XEverywhere card or do 2 x 308.95 and use a 5% card for the credit card portion. I'm all done with my Inks for the year and it kind of scares me having tons of identical transaction amounts with Amex.
All of these options really stink in the end... Just buying from your favorite online GC seller is almost the same profit rate and less headache. SO, best option for many may be just to unload them just as you would normally do any 500.

It'll only work if we can use 2 FBs to purchase a 308.95 VGC, one in the prepaid section and another in the cc section.
a lot of work for a small profit or at least not be in a loss when meeting minimum spend or reach a certain spend.

-Go to Simon
-Go online and enter 18 transactions w/ split payment (maybe have to register all 18 cards, too?)
-Wait for 18 different shipments
-Track the 5B on 18 different cards
-Liquidate 36 x 300 cards
-Liquidate 18 x 25 after 5B posts
36 x 300
18 x 25
= 54 GCs to cash out -- for just one round -- and not even counting the initial 18 cards that you liquidate online.
Skip the 5B altogether and just buy 30x 300 from OSS.com on Ink and you'll have similar net profit and only 30 cards to liquidate, but obv then you're capped at 50k per ink per year.

LOL the math might work but that sounds like a huge PITA.

...or just wait for one of the never ending OM/OD sales and stock up with Ink cards. I've reached my annual limit on both cards just with those.

I have many things going for me. This will take little time and doing say 3x orders / day then wait is no big deal. Plus I have Ink+ and Ink$ so can do 75k per year.
I have a dream setup and can do all the MOs I want each day. Staff does not care if 500/300/25. Just run them all. Yeah, hate me but life is good in Northern Indiana right now!
I will run a few rounds and see how much time it does really take but I see great returns but have great circumstances as well that many do not.

Datapoint:
4 cards, ran 1/19, Simon showed 1/20 approval
4 cards, ran 1/20, Simon showed 1/21 approval
None of them were loaded by 1/24, so I phoned and opened a case on all 8.
Rep did resist a bit about the apparent 1/21 loads but I said check the transaction they took place at the store on 1/20. At which point she took down the rest of the 603 numbers and put them in the ticket.
By this afternoon on 1/25, I have $25 back on all 8 cards.
Glad to be done with this, still busy unloading MO inventory.

Got all Cashbacks and no VGC was hacked. Yesterday, went to the PO and one of the VGC showed insufficient funds, that scared me for a while. I thought $500 was stolen. Operator mistake, she was trying to charge fee also on the last card when I told her just charge 500 and then I would pay the fees with different card.
Little PITB because the rewards wouldn't post automatically and therefore required checking few times on few cards. Can't complain much. It's not like you are doing anything more useful, if you were, you wouldn't be MSing in the first place.
In a hindsight, I think should have got spouse and kids with their DL, Passport etc and hit it like mad man. You need to be setup for this ahead of time so when the opportunity comes you hammer it, I had 10K CL on one of CC which gave 2%, all the others are 1% , then increased to 16K. Spouse didn't have 2% card. Simon was only allowing 3K max per day on a chip card. PO inspectors stories were always in the back of mind. Anyway, this was a good ride while it lasted.
If both spouses can go to Simon, go to CVS, go to PO, go to Banks..then you could milk this like the cow is not going to give birth again.

My math isn't adding up the same way..I have to be missing something. Ignoring the 5B CB, the INK would only charge 113.90 per order right (after the 5B was used) so after each order you'd gain 569 UR. At 18 orders you'd gain 10,242 UR?

It's a lot of work and tracking (not to mention time it takes to ship cards) for not so much profit but to each his own, as always.
