I thought RiteAid only allows max $500 per load to serve. Is that incorrect?

Can someone shed some light as to what is max load to serve using VGC? Also if max is higher than $500, how do you split tender the load? Is it similar to WM where you need to tell cashier that it's split payment and amount of each?

I could never find out about RiteAid split tender loads anywhere on any forums and just guessed that nobody wanted to say, as not to kill it for everyone else. If that is the case, you all might as well say it now since Serve as a whole is about to die anyways. Or if you're still paranoid you can pm me :)

Anyways, just loaded $500 to serve onevip at RiteAid using VGC no problem.

I don't try to load more than $500 per load at RA.

However, if the store is not busy and there is no line at the cashier, I do sometimes ask the cashier if I can perform a second $500 load after I have completed the first. That's been successful a few times.

i have successfully loaded 1k in one transaction. 2 $500 vgc. problem is that 99% of the cashiers dont know how to split tender so ill usually just do 2+ transactions if there is no line

Vanilla Visa GC deal is back at RA 4/24/16-4/30/16: buy 2 Vanilla Visas, get 800 plenti points. Limit 2 offers (4 VGCs in total). 800 points = $8 towards merchandise at RA.

Next time can you smile and ask for the procedure? I've been told by many CSRs, even managers, saying it can't be done.

How did you find out about that week? I just looked into RA's website and didn't see the following week's ad.

People post ad scans for weeks in advance in SlickDeals' Grocery&Drugstore forum.

Quick data points:
NY, Queens Rite Aid at Broadway and 31st: Didn't work. Cashier at first even asked me "Prepaid card of cash?" when I said I wanted to load Serve. She asked for ID. I swiped and selected the option "Vanilla GC Amex" on screen. Then she wanted to see my debit card to compare my name to ID.. then it was a no go. Very annoying.

The Dollar Tree a block over wouldn't have it either. Lady flat out said No when I asked if I can load my Serve here. I think she just didn't even know what it was. Seeing as she was in a pissy mood, I decided not to press it and left.

Astoria Queens 1/10 would not churn again.

Was reading reports earlier that rite aid is no longer accepting debit as of today. Went and tried at a reliable location and can confirm that debit cards are no longer accepted by their system.

Just bought 2 VGCs and I got 800 points.

Why am I still not seeing it on the online ad?
