Why am I still not seeing it on the online ad?

Rite Aid seems to have different ads for different areas. This offer isn't in my local ad, but on their website if you put zip code 45431, that ad shows the offer (near the end). I think last time this happened, the offer still worked for me even though it wasn't in the ad.

Indeed, it worked for me this time even though it wasn't in my store's ad. The store did have tags showing the deal.

Was reading reports earlier that rite aid is no longer accepting debit as of today. Went and tried at a reliable location and can confirm that debit cards are no longer accepted by their system.

I can also confirm this, they told me the policy is one week old.

Confirming this. Went into a reliable RA last Friday and earlier today. The gentleman showed me the notice that popped up on the cashier after I entered the pin. It is now cash only.

I tried to buy a couple of Vanilla Visas with a credit card at a reliable RiteAid, and I was told it was cash only now. Is this true, or just a confused clerk?

Confused clerk. Only reloadables are cash only. Vanilla Visas are open-loop prepaid cards that cannot be reloaded. However, the new policy is leading to predictable confusion among clerks.

Happened to me. Tell the cashier to re-check the memo, or tell the cashier that the memo only applies to reloadables. Vanilla gift cards are not reloadable.

I saw the memo today.

I tried to buy an OV and the cashier said these are now cash only. I said really ? She said they got a memo and showed it to me.

GreenDot, NetSpend, MyVanilla, Amex Serve, and something else, RELOADABLES are cash only.

I explained that was MyVanillas not OVs, that the OVs are just a plain debit card and not reloadable.

She said OK we'll try it. Of course it worked.

Lord now I'm back to training cashiers. Shades of the old WM days.

How are you guys using the OVs now that RA has gone cash-only? I'd like to get in on the Plenti points this week, but not sure how I can liquidate that now. Thanks

My Serves are dead. Though have one more RedBird I've been saving to convert for last resort.

Haven't found a grocery that takes debit for MOs yet, haven't tried that hard either though. Anyone in upstate/western NY? :)

Argh, I tried another RiteAid and ran into another confused clerk (who did not give me the impression he'd be in the mood to read over the memo)

My Rite-Aid cashier would not even try.

I have been able to buy with 2/3 cashiers over the last week or so.
