Went in yesterday and the CSR was very happy to tell me if I buy 3 or more she could give me these cool little black boxes to put the VGC' in. Told her that was a great promotional idea, give me 6. She was so excited her sales pitch worked. Now trying to figure out what to do with the boxes.

yep. I was blasted ( by people now on ignore) when I broke the news that Blackhawk was now involved and opined the painfully obvious: this was bad news, and negative changes were forthcoming.

before: business account with no limits, where I hit break points as low as $2/ card. regular cards $2.95 roughly forever.

after: all business accounts closed*. daily limits- 3k at my mall, and now a 33% price increase (100% for big business buyers)

* N/A if your daughter works for the mall. the downside: your adult daughter works at a mall.

if anyone thinks there's no correlation to these developments and the death cross of Blackhawk/ the proliferation of this thread, they're, well... probably on ignore already!

still worth it for a couple of cards if you live close to a mall that has modified the corporate limit to exceed $3000/ day. I wouldn't be surprised if that limit becomes universal at some point, but I have no info. the people with the 10k daily limits have had a points machine for a few cards. still good for pikers just looking to meet minimum spend requirements who want too diversify.

i'll head to SM tomorrow, and will let you know. Admit that make WM GC look little bit more attractive, since it's very easy to do a feed session to serve, then buy GCs then wait little bit then go back to drain on other cards/MO (ofc, ymmv and works if WM accept CC)

I asked, having read about the increase here. The information was not proactively offered. Did you ask and was it denied? If so, please let us know where that mall is.

Increase to $3.95 confirmed at one of my Simon Malls here in Southern California, and a new limit to $2k purchase per credit card. My usual mall worker said that they hadn't been told of any changes to $10k per day limit, but that the $2k per credit card limit was going to be annoying for her "usuals".
