Quick tip. Try to make sure that the coupon printer is on. I went to one this morning and the cashier didn't have the printer on or have paper in the printer. So no coups.
When the printer is on, there's a green light on the machine.

I was not suggesting that we buy hundreds of $100 fixed value VGCs, since one cannot use so many fuel pts in two months and loading $100 VGCs is time consuming.
I intended to ask for data points for $100 VGC. I tested it today, and got mixed results: at one store, I bought 1 $100 VGC at 3pm, and got the $5 off coupon. At another store, I bought 1 $100 VGC at 6pm, and did not get the coupon. So I am not sure what happened.

Here is a more effective breakdown using a 5% card.
1 $500 Variable- $505.95 x 5%= $25.30CB - $5.95 fee= $19.35 profit + $5 coupon
1 $100 Fixed Card- $105.95 x 5%= $5.30CB - $5.95 fee= ($0.65) loss + $5 coupon +200 Fuel points valued from $3-$7 depending on if you fill up 15 or 35 gallons.
I would rather churn through more $500 variable cards and make more profit than be stuck with gas discounts. I will however probably get enough for 1000 fuel points so I can get a $1 off a gallon for a fillup!

someone should update the title for the current promo 7/1-7/15
anyways can this coupon be used the next time you just buy GCs? or does it strictly have to be groceries?

I figured GC meant its own store (K) GC.
it also says not redeemable for 'in-store services' does that mean cant take off $5 from the next MO?

If I remember correctly, these coupons are also one per purchase. So, you'd have to split your groceries into multiple orders when using them.

confirmed print of coupon for one $500 VGC. Watch out for the expiration date on those coupons. They come up pretty fast.

You have received a coupon for purchasing one $500 VGC? I thought the promotion said "$5 off your next shopping order when you buy 2 or more Mastercard or Visa giftcards"?

Yes a single variable 500 gets you a 5 dollar off coupon. Also, ask nicely and they may let you use multiple 5 off coupons on a single transaction.

According to the original promo printout, it was 2 or more and was to start on July 2nd. However, so far it has worked on the purchase of one card and it started early (June 30th).

I did one transaction with 4 coupons. Tried to do another with some more and it wouldn't work. Only one would scan. Others were declining. Manager could not override. So about 5 coupons per day. Barcode is all the same on these coupons. My guess is it was tracking by using Kroger card. Didn't try without card because it was a big fiasco. Will try again tomorrow.
