I got two $500 VGC. I how ever could not get them to work at Walmart. This was a new Walmart that had just opened today. Was kinda weird, real small & all they sold was groceries. The CSR told me gift cards will not load. I told her I do it all the time. She tried 3 times still would not. She then told me, well were new & are computers are updated & the older walmarts have older computers. lol

I wish I could ban you from America.

ummm... walmart neighborhood market, perhaps.

clearly you hit your head pretty hard when you fell off the turnip truck. you should be in a hospital not a cvs. you could take a nasty spill and subject yourself to further school absences.

What do people do with Paypal Cash Cards? Is there a thread I can read on it somewhere?

That word "America", I don't think it means what you think it means.

This about sums it up...

After reading Juss11's post yesterday, i was concerned. realizing that nobody can be so lost and have done so little reading to not understand basic do's and don'ts, that it's a Serve card, not a "Server" card and that a really small walmart is a neighborhood store; i posited that a head injury may be to blame. the dangers of brain trauma have been in the news quite a bit between baseball and football.

One question
I bet you weigh 300 pounds! You ugly fat ....!"

grammar aside, this perfectly illustrates the growing demographic who have somehow stumbled upon the FT MS forum.

i imagine, in any followup, i'll be called a poopy head.

Well, at least you're a poopy head who's pretty good at this game.

On a matter leftover from yesterday, I purchased PPMC with CC today, no problems. The guy also showed me his screen. Cashiers see a screen that asks for the last four of the CC to verify purchase. That's it.

If so, I will immediately nominate you for the "poopy head Hall of Fame". :p

In other news, I went to my go-to CVS, and found a cashier I've never seen before. Confronted with a prospective purchase of $5K of OVs, he demanded to know what I wanted them for.

I hedged, and he insisted to know because "there's been lots of fraud with these". I asked if he meant customers or stores were losing out, and he said sometimes one, sometimes the other. He'd never heard of BB, but when I explained what it is, and that I was going to simply load it all to our BB "debit cards", that made sense to him and he became quite willing to make the sale. (I didn't mention WM).

Only snag was that at $4K he peered at the screen and announced "I'm at my limit". It wouldn't let him sell me more than that. I settled for $4K, and just said that just means another trip for me, and he responded with "see you tomorrow". First time that has ever happened to me at any CVS.

I just tried buying some VRs at a CVS near my office using the self-checkout and they were hardcoded for cash only. I'm going to try going up to the counter during the afternoon rush when it is really busy to see if I have any luck there

I had read posts in some threads from August that some people were having luck at some CVS stores, so I decided to give it a shot today.
