No OneVanilla at any CVS around me. Is it 'sold out' or 'pulled out' due to Bancorp regulatory violation? probably will bring it back 'cash only' then they will collect dust like VR (no one looks at them anymore)

Not going to happen; not to OV anyway. Now that WM won't take OV anymore, once CVS restocks those stores, the cards will just sit on the rack, just like VRs do now.

If you haven't heard that OV is dead at WM:

I'll keep buying them as long as there are 10+ stores in town willing to sell me MOs.

if you and I are thinking of the same place, a recent memo came down to prevent future purchases. do you home work and don't be left holding the bag.

I was at my local CVS doing $1.5k only, and they did more than an ID swipe.

The cashier input all my data, name, zip code, address, etc... whole process took 5 min!!! Is this typical behavior? Are they filling up a SAR on me?

Cashier must be new. probably didn't know she can swipe or scan your id. i highly doubt its a sar. a sar normally requires your ssn.

From the description it seems possible. However, if you aren't doing anything fraudulant, don't wrack your brain about it.

There are plenty of places to cash out Vanillas. No need to spread the panic.

Any specific suggestions?

Even with all of the MSers around here, I've always had at least a dozen stores nearby with no sign of running out.

If they stack up enough, maybe they'll run a deal waiving the fees!

Not sure if we are, but my list includes multiple stores including local, regional and national chains. Took a bit of legwork to find all these options in my area.

It was the manager, not a noob cashier. And he did swipe my ID. Then, proceeded to enter all the data. I know of the ID swipe, but spending 5 min entering data manually on the screen?
