Two questions I can't find a definitive answer on:

1) If you have 1 card and get shut down can you still apply for two more?

2) If you have 3 active cards and get shut down are they all shut down or do they close them individually?

Thanks for the replies.

You need to keep them out of light. If stored totally out of light, they usually can stay up to almost 2 years.

personally on my #2 and #3 cards Im taking it very easy going forward. As I need them to help me get $25k Spend on what will be my forthcoming Chase UA CC, that way I wont have to meet any min Spend to maintain my status with UA for the time being. Since the $25k will start only on 1/1/14 I dont want to chance being shut down till I know the $25k is in the bag

Thought I might have gotten off easy with the CGCs , but al last they are now history as so much else before it

If you really had to you could simply purchase OVGCs, you'd only spend an extra $2 a thousand.

1- there are reports that the 'new ones' (dont know what that means) cant be liqudated

2- if even #1 can be done it requires heading to WM which is not near by

3- VRs are alot easier to do and load from home, and there are a couple out there that will shut you down 1-2-3 but as long as I loaded them to their max, thats OK mission accomplished again VRs needed

4- there are other means to do MS for the min Spend , forgot its not only UA come 1/1/14 but DL as well. But if a person gets shut down by everyone they will have a problem come 1/1/15 thats if this game is even still active at that point

1-The OVGC haven't had any issues so far, it's the cards coming from the new style VVGCs packages.

2-I just get money orders at my local grocery store. It's cheaper than WM, and leaves me open to use BB for office supply loads.

3-People keep saying that about PP, but I've been doing the max for awhile. Just don't be obvious about it, load one every few days, then buy a money order and ask to pay with multiple swipes so you keep the transaction amounts low.

4-There's no way someone could be shut down from every opportunity. The game is always changing, some new door is always opening.

You can get up to three cards, all of which are independent. Shut downs have zero effect on the others. They view the cards as separate and unrelated.

Loaded My Vanilla debit card $1000.00 have a new balance of $3560 yesterday but CA at citi was denied today and I cannot log in to check the status on my account...(I have been using MVD for about 8 months)
Seems like a shut down?
What is the best way to get my $3500 out?

Yeah, I've been trying that. My problem is more I live in the SW, so the summer 120 degree weather nukes them between walking to my car and the hot car ride home.

does your grocery store issue $1k MOs like WM? A $1k MO @ WM is $.70 so your store would have to charge less then $.35 if its like most and a $500 max per MO just to equal WMs fee. More then that then it costs you more per $1k worth of MOs eg 2 MOs of $500 @ $.59 each = paying $1.18 instead of $.70

I only do OSs for my birds as well, but they too arent good for a full year due to the max of $50K per year that will yield ya 5X. I guess a person can go with AUs but I dont think its $50K per user but rather per acct and many with the AUs have heard from Chase that their biz is no longer wanted, So it very much is tread very carefully

My local Kroger store sells MOs up to $1000 for $0.41. I can even get $60 cash back off the transaction so it's really $0.41 for $1060. Plus the bank atms I go to read the grocery store MOs versus the WM ones. WM seems to rarely change the ink in the printer.

The 50k is per account, AUs have nothing to do with. You can get the IB and IP though. I have a few businesses that actually do about $45k in real OS cost though so I can mask easily my purchases there.

In your case Koger is a good deal. By where I live its a $500 max and I prefer $1k MOs and it doesnt make sense for me to get 2 @ $500 and end up paying more then 1 @ $1k by WM

I hear ya about the just bearly able to read ink. Out of 10 MOs on Sun I was able to deposit only 2 via the ATM.

The 50K is per acct, but if a person has AUs and a # of BBs then they can reach the $50K level faster then turn to VRs or VGCs to meet the $5k max per BB per month. Of cause the more 1 does the greater the % you slip up and bingo get shut down.

Yes it seems so. They might re-open the account for 48 hrs otherwise usually 2-3 week wait for a check. Have to call them and see what's up as they ask for proof of identity as well.
