Chase Freedom

Chase freedom card is also offering 5%CB on amazon.com this quarter. Will it work on amazon payments?

As has been answered numerous times already in this thread, no, AP has never worked for the Amazon category with Chase. It has in the past worked with Discover.

Just buy an Amazon GC and apply that to your account.

Holding back the tears as I do my last $1K transfers this morning.
Pouring a little of my 40 on the sidewalk in honor of my fallen friend.
You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten!

+1 Just did my Amazon $1k From A to B. Just hoping that Discover treats this as an online purchase like in past years for an easy $50. This isn't as sad of a day as the mint stopping the coin program, but still sad.

I may set up a checking for A and do a payment from B to A. I was always scared of getting shut down in the past but not out anything this time if they do shut me down.

Discover fest here as well. Had 1 September account unused, so burned through $1k at around 2am ET this morning - counted as September for AP on Pacific Time, but October for Discover's bonus categories on ET :-). Seems to be the one time living on the East Coast is a time zone advantage for MSing.

Will use my 2 October allotments shortly to complete the $1.5k on each Discover card.

Farewell dear friend. Going out with a bang.

Did my last 2 payments as well for my Chase Ink spend bonus.
What's a good one to use to meet my 15x debit card transactions a month for a bank account?

What does that accomplish, exactly?

can I do A>B then B>A with the same card? lol, AP accounts have different names of course.

For all the people using Discover, can someone confirm that it posts as the category bonus? I know it has in previous years, just want confirmation before I push $1.5k through AP.

It has in years past, but how could anyone know already if it will still work this year?

I just looked at the T&C and clicked on the link for examples of eligible merchants. Paypal.com was surprisingly listed as an example of an eligible purchase (I would consider them a virtual wallet) so if paypal is eligible I'd think Amazon payments would be.

I went ahead and used Discover for my payment. I figure if it doesn't get the 5% back, I will just call when I get the statement and state that in the past it has qualified and since Paypal was mentioned as a qualifying merchant I figured Amazon payments would be and they should make the adjustment. In the past if something hasn't posted as 5% and I call Discover the CSR can just make an adjustment on the next statement.

One of my four accounts was suspended today after the payment went to pending for a few hours. I'm pretty sure it was because I was lazy this time and didn't mask my ip address for that account.
