I know some folks have gotten this in the thread already, but has anyone gotten it on their first try trying to claim a payment? There's pretty much no history whatsoever. Signed up, was sent money, tried to claim, and this message comes up.

Did you add and verify a checking account?
Did you add a cc?

Anyone having an issue with using Mastercards to send a payment? This is the first time I've ever had this issue. I tried deleting and re-adding the card and it still doesn't work. Shows up under my list of cards when I go to Add/Delete but then none of my Mastercards are listed once I go to the dropdown box of the payment screen.

Yeah I'm not sure what it can be and obviously it would not be smart to call. Have you tried different computers?

Crap. Made the mistake of mixing accounts today.
Sent to the wrong A > B's. etc.

Hope I don't get hit by the Bezo's tribe.

Understandable :D

I think the witch-hunt season is over for the headhunters as of now. They were very productive in the last two months.

Or so I hope.

Thanks for the expiration date trick for GCs! I think it should be in the wiki.

Please excuse me...this thread is 200 pages long...and I'm just as much peeved by people who don't do their research as you all are.

Bear w/ me this one time, I'm in a time crunch, and I'm trying to send my wife $1,000.

I get a message saying "Mrs. pricesuire cannot receive money. Ask them why!"

Then I get an email saying my 1k transfer failed.

What gives?

Does she have a verified bank account and credit card attached?

Has she already received $1k this month?

Please give more information!

She has verified her banking account. No credit card attached.

She hasn't already received $1k.

Could the problem be that my bank acct associated w/ my Amazon payments and her bank account associated w/ her Amazon payments is the same?

Why would it just tell me that it's a problem on her end?

I don't think you should have the same bank accounts, but I'm pretty sure you receive the ability to receive and send $500 with each bank verification and CC verification.

Therefore, I would add a credit card to her account.

I noticed that on the last AP account I opened, I was only able to send $500 because I only had a verified bank account. Once I added a CC, I could send/receive $1k.

This is just my experience, I don't know if there's any logic to it!

Make sure addresses and everything are properly filled out. Name on CC. Run over the accounts and make sure everything is proper.

If not, contact Amazon and find out what's wrong.

This is your answer. SO only had CC and & bank account verified. I was only able to send $500.

Once SO verified bank account, I was able to send the other $500 for $1000 total.

pricesquire Jan 30, 2014 12:53 pm

Thanks. I'll make it so we have two separate bank accounts and add a CC on her end.

GF getting this error:

As a result of changes to federal regulation, Amazon Payments is required to verify your identity. This functionality is temporarily disabled, pending verification of your information
Does she just need to wait? Contact them? She said she gave a crapton of info like SSN, and has a CC added already as its her only Jungle she goes to. It's a bit frustrating trying to work this out with her right before the month end because she's on vacation right now and so communication is not that easy.
