Perfectly good AP payment from the valid CC /Citi AA MC/ had failed.

Is this a signal for trouble or was it CC that refused the payment to go thru?

freaking A, duplicate post, please delete.

Don't panic just yet. Having read your post I just try sending as I also have a Citi AA link to Amz. Sent $500 to sister as a test and it said the usual pending but then went thru. No problems yet.
Suggest you double check ,maybe exceeded your max send in a month:confused:

No problems sending 4 X $200 GC's before few minutes.

Thanks

I was having the same problem. After receiving this message, I hit the back button and simply edited one of the many addresses I have on file, exited from that and reentered the card info and it worked. Did this to both of my accounts and was able to add cards and send payments. Good luck!

How difficult is it to get money out of a closed Amazon Payments account?

You'll have to wait about 6 months, but you'll most likely get it back eventually.

Bizarre. They closed my account yesterday, and now they reopened it today after further review. Money is being transferred out now. I'll wait a few days before trying another payment.

Some difference here as poster was having trouble trying to use the Citi AA cc and assuming and asking if Citi AA was banning use for Amz payments

Folks, I think their should be a PSA about using the Citi AA card. Been using AP for months between me and the wife, but adding and using the AA card triggered the account closure (luckily, was reinstated today). I'm sticking to beans or GC for MS on this one, and I'd caution fellow FT's to do the same (seeing as others here have issues as well).

Apologies if this is answered somewhere in this thread. I looked for awhile and didn't see an answer.

Has anyone had experience using A ---> B, B depositing into bank account (with A and B both being different people)? Does this raise red flags with Amazon?

No panicking, if they close them, so be it.

No, I checked, I am inside my limits.

Most likely Citi AA refused the transaction. It is a new card.

The only similar question I see in the past few pages is someone asking about a variant on a loop transaction, although there very likely is a similar question in a 177 page thread. In the amount of time it took you to write your response, you could have said no, or just quoted the relevant post.
