Yes. Different bank accounts too.

No - stick to different CARD NUMBERS. Think AMEX AUs, each with a unique card number, and Citi cards, each operating under many virtual card numbers.

Hobbitses is tricksy.

Your bank is really going to hate you, so they might close your account :D

I've usually been doing A--->B for some time now

Recently I added in a few B---->A's and haven't had any issues as well.

If A and B are two different people in different households, is A->B for $1000 then B->A for $1000 ok? Or can this lead to closing both accounts?

It still looks bad, even if it's two different last names, two different IP/addresses, and even if it's two different credit card companies. Personally I only do A ->B, done. been doing it every month since it started without a blink of a problem.

remember its just IMO. I'm sure others have been doing different types of exchanges...

I bet if I mix in just a very few B's -> A's I wouldn't have a problem. But doing it alot will flag, IMO. But i'm not gonna take that bet, i'm more then happy with my free 12K a year.

Seriously, everyone who has commented on A to B and B to A shows they are not reading and want to be spoon fed information. Answers are in the thread dozens of times...

More like dozens of dozens of time. If you noticed I just go back and copy and paste my answer from the past, lol.

But I'm cool with it. A lot of the times I get lazy and don't feel like reading for hours to find an answer when I can just ask something simple and someone will answer right away. So I don't mind helping out. I play the golden rule =)

Can I register my CC that billing address is different from my AP registered address?

I don't mind helping at all either. It's just laughable when the answer is usually on the SAME page! ;)

I think I once read a whole this thread in the past but I read again this thread from page 50 today and I am at page 125 now.
For me, the problem looks Amazon is not consistent.
So the strategy depends on each risk tolerance.
