Really? That would be great news!!

The GM of FS Damascus told me earlier this year that FS had cancelled the Beirut hotel due to the unstable situation in Lebanon. But as of last week, I could still see the FS sign on the property...So I really hope it's still going to open as a FS

Beirut, Moscow FS etc

I heard it will open, too, next year. The other interesting one is Gordon Campbell Gray's Le Gray which will open next April/May in Beirut.

Sad to hear, though that FS Moscow has been put on ice due to the crunch, but FS St Petersburg is now on.

Four Seasons Coming to Baltimore (Ravens Conuntry)

I was reading the Baltimore Magazine last week on the way home from SF and saw that FS has plans to build a hotel and residences in Balimore in the Inner Harbor!!

As of now we do not have any 5* hotels in Baltimore. There are several 3* and 4* starwood hotels opening in 2009 and 2010.

Ritz Carlton also has a property but it is only residences.

I think this FS hotel has the chance to do well with all of the growing in Baltimore including the expanding of the Convention Center.

Well there was a fire at the Four Seasons hotel yesterday. Not sure what the cause was but it was clearly visible from the building I was in (which was a few hundred meters away). No external damage but I am sure the inside top floors got some damage... Nothing in the news about it yet...

Yes, the Le Gray hotel is almost finished too. This will be a very interesting and unique hotel.

Heard the same too. Fire department extinguished the fire quickly supposedly so hopefully not too much damage.

Looks like the proposed FS in Bermuda took a step forward with the application being submitted recently with the former Coral Beach being proposed as a new FS hotel:

Is anyone planning to try the new FS Seychelles?
We are not decided between FS Seychelles & FS Mauritius.

We have booked a week at FS Seychelles for October. Great offer (6th and 7th night for free), and October seems to be a good month to go there. I am sure we will go to the FS Mauritius as well, but decided upon Seychelles in October because of the offer and because I would like to have more than just a week at Mauritius when we go there.
