Best definitely is Claridge's. Dinner-plate sized shower heads POUR water on you. Great cure for jet lag. I hope London never has a water shortage. These showers are one of a kind.

I absolutely loved the showers in the newly remodeled Pierre NY. There is something about a fabulous shower with wonderful Molton Brown products after a day traipsing around NYC that does a body good!

Montcalm London City describe their showers as being rain-like. Perhaps a light drizzle, but nothing more. I think with more water pressure they'd be really good, but not as it stands.

MO. HK Dual shower head with great pressure
Acqualina, classic suite :large shower (big enough for 2) with dual shower jets on both sides and good pressure.

Not enough pressure at the MO. NY.

Visited one of the 3 presidential suite (believe Taipan suite) at MO LAS and the showerit was very very large, unfortunately was not staying in the suite.

Best pressure was the Pen Tokyo but the shower stall was relatively small.

Not an hotel room but the regular showers (not the experience one) at the SPA of landarmak MO. Are very nice with side jets. (Very nice showers at the MO. SPA in Miami)

Sofitel Athens Airport

Not sure if it was after a long flight or a dirth of decent showers before my arrival....but to this day, 3 years later, I still remember the shower as being the best I ever experienced.

The Mark NYC. Spacious, and incredible water pressure.

Extra credit for the heated towel rack and separate massive bathtub tub.

I would go with the riad el fenn in Marrakech. I have never had a bigger shower in my life (we stayed in suite 20), and they were smart enough to include a bench as it became almost like a steam room if you let the shower run for a few minutes. Definitely hit the spot after touring the market or the hills.

The Mandarin Oriental HK's dual head hansgrobe shower head system. Pure bliss!

Nay: Park Hyatt Seoul. 3 hotel rooms and 3 low pressure rain heads. Major problem for one of Seoul's most expensive rooms.

Resorts usually take the cake here, but I loved the shower in the Upper Suite at the Upper House. It's HUGE - head and rainshower, both with good pressure...and a nice view.

Avoid St. Regis in Florence

With a narrow tub and glass covering a third of the tub, water floods the bathroom no matter what direction you stand in or place the shower head towards. They had much better showers when it was the Grand Hotel.

Avoid: 4418 at the PH Tokyo. Door seal is shot (has a flaw) and created a mini lake in the fabulous marble bathroom.
