indonesia undiscovered can have lower rates (changed?) but dont recall re inclusions
theyre aman's packages, but at one point virtuoso site published details (not anymore)

cant book multi-property exclusives using online system
in other words impossible for guest to "look up the rates"
and they removed rates/details, but yes that gives overview

looking at kila (in past all bali were similar) >

950 / 900 - xmas/nye (break - back to regular discount?)
800 / 750 - aug (regular break discount?) & chinese new year
700 / 600 - apr may jun sep oct [ was mid season ]

700 / 650 - jan feb mar apr (break - back to regular discount?)
[ jul aug was peak ]
could be trying annual rate except aug / holiday
nemu did that.. and giri has added aug premium..
could be more issues with online system
as they continue making adjustments etc
first 6 night could match 7 night -$100
now 3 night can match that same -$100
and now seems they all match -$200 too

In reply to earlier question, I met the F&B manager who was very pleasant and actively 'working the room' one night (ex Setai Miami, forgot his name), but absent the next.
I very briefly met with Kristoff (sp?) who will be the GM for Asia I was told. Not his replacement (if there is one yet).

On the topic of Aman rate reductions, I was rechecking rates for our trip this summer to Amantaka and Amankila. We booked late last year for July dates.
Amantaka has just recently done away with its mandatory board fee of US$190++ per person per day. Apparently this just happened in the last week. All standard rates and packages now include airport transfers, breakfast plus either lunch or dinner each day, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, free local transportation, and laundry.
We had booked Amankila at a rate of US$900++ per night for their entry level suite, with a DavidO-confirmed upgrade into an ocean suite. That rate has since dropped to US$750++.

Correction to my earlier post - that was not Sergio; he's the assistant F&B manager. The other gentleman's name I don't remember.
Two things I forgot to include in my post:
room cleaning was a joke compared to other amans. I left the room for breakfast for 1.5 hours around 08:30 and when I came back the room had still not been cleaned. The same happend the next night over dinner. No evidence of 'visits' outside regular cleaning and turn-down.
One night I was told I should have dinner at 18:00 or 21:00 because they were 'too busy'. I refused and said I would come when I wanted and would wait if necessary. When I arrived at 19:00 there were several tables available. Weird.
I did a complimentary walk with a geologist, which was interesting. It's nice that they organise some free things. Unfortuntately the yoga classes are at the same time as the morning walk.
