I would still say a top floor suite with terrace overlooking the Spanish steps at the Hassler is about as good as it can get in Roma if you want a rental accommodation. I took Ms. Travelsig there for Valentines Day this year and it was absolutely magic.

@sitomb You will LOVE it - without doubt the best ever in Venice!
Off to try the Spa at #Aman Canal Grande Venice, where a foot massage is exactly what I need after the heat here. Chemical-free, too.
It never ceases to amaze me how many tourists think that the real #Venice is to be found on a vibrato-fuelled gondola. It's not.
Wouldn't you think that more restaurants in #Venice would cook proper Venetian food? Only at #Aman Canal Grande - deliciously authentic.
Do you know, it's only 2 & 1/2 hrs by train from Milan to Venice, & #Aman Canal Grande is just 5 mins from the train station? Convenient!
Bumped into MORE Gallivanter's Guide subscribers - first at the airport, now at Aman Canal Grande, #Venice. Small, small world!

Forget San Marco area of Venice. THE place is San Polo - quieter, more local, fewer tourists and, of course, with the BEST hotel - #Aman
Wait until you see Aman's unique, custom-made boat at #Aman Canal Grande, Venice - just launched today.
There are some lovely little shops around the rear of #Aman Canal Grande - great fashion shop, Kiriku Venezia.
Had dinner last night in the beautiful alfresco garden Naoki restaurant at #Aman Canal Grande, Venice. Sensational cuisine here.
if you're tired of Venice you're not necessarily tired of life, you just need to stay at #Aman Canal Grande. Takes the rest out of the water

It is not very often that gallivanters post own pictures at twitter. After all they want you to subscribe! David's pictures are reasons enough to subscribe and it would be strange if they would make those available to everybody.

not easy to search, but i will, for my own informational purposes
some, just from their current twitter thing >
tweeted dari and kila pic in oct when they were there
bunch of zoe tweet pics in aug?
lots of food tweet pics
re subscribing, "previews" are form of advertising, which they do with old newsletters online
and they dont put all pics taken in newsletter, tweets could be "bad quality"

Although it only has 3 exquisite treatment rooms, Aman Grand Canale Venice Spa is a joy. Great facial with Valerio this afternoon.
What is going on with the food at The Cipriani, Venice? Disastrous lunch with a good friend - so bad they didn't charge us. Wine was good!

Did not say they never tweet pics, but the real stuff (in the guide) is nothing compared to some tweeted food shots, pics of bath amenities and flower or fruit. Have seen some better pictures of old, known resorts (villa at Dari comes to mind), but the rest are teasers/advertising at the best.

again i am 99% sure they tweeted from ruya live (and then zoe i see on their twitter now)
re ruya, who else would have tweeted pic of unfinished main pool under construction, dont think anyone
always possible im misremembering, but im pretty sure
not to mention how long will it be before subscribers get this months newsletter?
i do not subscribe to anything, and will almost certainly be going to aman venice before subscribers receive newsletter
as are other subscribers, met at aman venice, and perhaps some here who have mentioned booking / planning
i wasnt saying anything at all about newsletter or not to subscribe, or post pics on twitter instead of in newsletter, etc
re food, i would love pics of aman venice food. i doubt i am only one.
aman venice >
i hear restaurants did not open on jun 1. so good to hear gallivanters suggest naoki fully open. did this japanese chef come from other aman? if so hopefully the aman beijing one that deer raved about, to open venice.

when do subscribers here usually get issues?
Oh, wait until you see David's photos of #Aman Venice in GG (Sept issue) - looking amazing.
My photos of #Aman Canal Grande Venice are nothing compared to what you will see of David's in our September issue. Breathtaking.
I bumped into three sets of Subscribers on our trip to Venice, even though I was wearing my dark glasses. Hmm...maybe a false beard?
