So if you manage to persuade the M/C to do so...will you get F-mileage for your flight after sending in F-BP and receipt?

Also, can I enquire at the telephone checkin in gva or at checkin desk in gva or directly in transit in zrh? I guess the sooner the better..
Thanks.
Anyone would have any advice ?

My ticket was discounted Business fare (Z bucket).

I skipped

Fare difference between M/B to C. Unless LH has a special promotion, which usually can be seen in summer time

it can be 3-4k USD each way, if LH has special promotion then can be 500USD up

MIA is a pretty good station for this actually- they will have offers available if they need them (i.e. oversell situation in Y or C for example).

From FRA I suspect your only option will be fare difference (maybe just maybe you will find someone who will let you upsell to Z but I really doubt it).

I am trying to decide whether to fly Lufthansa or Swiss Air from FRA - MIA and wondered if Swiss Air would be more likely to give a good upgrade-at-the-gate price. Seems that Lufthansa (based on this thread) is not likely to upgrade-at-the-gate for any discount. My question here is, is Swiss Air a better chance for that discounted upgrade? (at FRA) And then ... how about in MIA for the return trip?
Flying in October, btw.

Very slim chances on both for an offer better then fare difference.
