-YA and -YF will have a larger economy class during the winter season.

Can Anyone tell me what the first rows in Eco are? I made a reseration in Row 18 which apparantly does not exist according to the seatmap.
I thought the config on the 747-8 would be 8/92/262. The seatmap shows a 8/80/298 configuration though.
Has LH reduced the C Class seats already?
Who can help?

There are two configs: one where section 'C' is entirely business, in the second section 'C' is split into business and economy. The second looks like this:

Code:

If possible, Can you elaborate on this? I am looking at booking a flight to BLR on the 747-8, and see that the business class rows end at 11 (on the seat selection). Does this mean that the second business cabin on the main floor only has 2 rows? And how is it separated from the economy section? Via a soft partition? Bulkhead?

I was looking at row 10 in business, as it has the bassinets.

Any insight will be helpful

Hey guys! I'll fly FRA-LAX in two weeks time - Y class in the new 747-8i, and I was wondering if the last three rows, 45-47 have a space between the window seat and the window, as the seatguru map suggests. Would rather have a window seat next to one person, than next to two (too much hassle when leaving your seat) - but then again I would really like to be able to sleep leaning against the wall (I envy you, business class!). Does anyone know this?

Btw. does anyone has knowledge about the cabin altitude in the airplane? Has flown on the A380 which, as far as I'm informed should have a lower altitude than other aircraft. Does 747-8i have a similar cabin pressure?

Soft partition, some light built frames, no hard bulkhead.

45a/b for parent and 6 year-old?

Trying to select seats for my wife and young son on LH456 in July... looks like I can get 18j/k. Is this a nice little mini-cabin?

Another option - 45 B/C. But it's close to the back. Would it suffer from being hot/crowded/lavatory queues and odors? It might be nicer for them to be alone with not neighbor to worry about.

LH 747-800i Row 18 D/E/F/G

Just booked on this aircraft. Y class, 18G, in the middle four seats.

I'm wondering if this seat is the same/better/different than a normal Y seat. LH shows nothing in front of the middle four seats of row 18. There is a row 16 of Y but it doesn't have the middle 4 seats, only 3 A/B/C and 3 H/J/K. What is in front of this row? Are the middle four a bulkhead row? Better/worse legspace? Smaller seats/limited recline? IFE in the armrest?

The seat map on LH's website for 8F/92C/262M doesn't match up. I'm assuming it's the 8F/80B/298M configuration but the link to this seatmap doesn't work on LH's website.

Try this link for the seatmap you are looking for:
http://www.lufthansa.com/mediapool/p...2004195594.pdf

I cannot comment on the seat itself as I haven't flown this bird yet.

Check post #83 in this thread which partially answers your question.

Thanks

From the map it looks as if I would be able to get over 16 H/J easily if I chose 16K instead? Or am I better off doing a normal Y seat like 23/24 G, rather than this first row, for other reasons (i.e. the seat, etc)? Any additional insights would be greatly appreciated.

Where is seat 16H on LH 747-800i

Long story short. My seat assignment in economy on UA 8827 operated by LH between FRA and IAD on a 747-800 international is 16h. The seat guru web site does not show this seat. Is it a real seat or an error?
