All of the retrofitted 744s with a First Class product at the moment have the permanent bed. I think there are only 2 left that have not been retrofitted AFAIK.

I guess I better fly YVR-MUC-FRA to make sure I get the new suite. Such a pain when there is a direct flight ha!

Yes, and you will still get FCT on the way back. Also MUC is a nice transit airport and you will have the FCL lounge there as well. Last time my wife and I even got the car both times/both directions as we landed and departed from a stand at the new terminal building still under construction. Gotta love that!

Which aircraft is Lufthansa flying on MUC/YVR now? Be careful it is not one of the older airbus with the old First.

On the 744 upstairs in any case you will have two seats- even if it is one of the two remaining old aircraft. I would take the 744 in any case- there is not a case where the airbus is better in First.

It's an A330 for YVR-MUC. As I understood it all the 330 ex-MUC had the new F product? I also thought all the 343s and most of the 346s had it, per the first post in this thread.

Just a clarification, the NEW FIRST CLASS on LH is the new first similar to the cabin on the A380 and not the new First which has a permeant bed ? I understand these are 2 separate.

I appreciate the clarification.

Thank You

There are three types of "new first class" cabins. Line-fitted F seats on the A380 and 747-8i (and newer A333), retrofitted F seats on the Airbuses and the seat and bed combo on the 744. The first two are very similar.

What is happening with D-ABTH? Can't find it on Flightradar lately. I'm trying to avoid it and D-ABTF at YVR.

TH and TF are the reserve aircraft used alternatively. They would have been retired this quarter if it wasn't for the advisory on the 748 GEnx engines. Considering LH is taking delivery of a new 748 every 4-6 weeks till August, you should see them less and less.

Thanks Oliver. D-ABTF is still common to DEN and YVR though...

How is the success average these days for the enquiry tool?

I have an upcoming FRA-SEA (LH490 on Mar 5) and the tool says good to go. I see people post seat maps from time to time and checking row 27 on a 330-300 seems to be an indicator. How do you get that full seat map. LH only shows cabin you are booked to.
