D-ABTA/B/C are still in service, altough on sale here: http://speednews.com/EquipmentResult...raft&Type=-400

D-ABVC is next for sales, -VA & -VB are already in the middle of being part-ed and scrapped in Tupleo.

Those are the 6 that will leave by end of this year from an original 30 744s.

Thanks. That agrees with my list in the first post.

BOS-MUC

For the BOS-MUC and back trip it seems like on most days in May LH425 and LH424 were operated on a 346 with the new F, but since May 25 (according to flight24) that seems to have stopped. Any ideas on if the route will change back to new F this month? I've got BOS-MUC on June 28 and MUC-BOS on July 14. First time flying LH, never mind their F class!

EDIT: I just saw that a 343 just did the 6/5 and 6/6 trip with the new F. Maybe the tide is turning!

I'm on the same flights in July and worried about the trend. Seems only the longerish hauls are getting the new F. I've flown old F many times and was really hoping all the A346s would be converted by now when I booked this award flight 11 mo ago. Now I'm considering changing to another US gateway (if it comes available)...but "F cabin roulette" is not a game I wanted play, since I usually lose.

Any routes with " guaranteed New First on LH's 744?

Dear knowledgeable LH-folks!

Now with 10 of the 747-400s retrofitted in First Class (the real bed-type) is there any route that is kind of guaranteed to see the retrofitted planes?

Particularly looking for KIX-FRA 02JUL

THX!

What about DUS-based A340-300s? I see one on ORD-DUS for 6/16.

So does this mean that DUS will never get the new F class A340's ? Will they carry on with the old F class or transition eventually over to the 2 class A340's ?

I think NEVER is perhaps to strong a term.....but it may be a bit.

You can always hope for an unexpected equipment substitution.....

I attempted to search this thread for info on the HKG-FRA flight with no success. How often is it getting the new F cabin?

0, coz the set of 744s used on that route are of a special kind that have not gone for retrofits.

In July we are down to 24. D-ABTC will retire next week.
