Thanks. That's good there's no security from safe countries, as I'm planning a NS (UK) >S connection with only 1 hour -- thought that may still be a bit tight I guess... I guess there is no priority line for passport control.

From a punctuality perspective Monday was an absolute disaster.
Red = arrived at least 60 minutes late. Most of those flights were delayed a lot longer than that.
KL aircraft and crew scheduling must be a right mess.

I still can't believe Schiphol hasn't even set up some sort of live update system for passengers to know what to expect ahead. Terrible crisis management really...

At least some of them were marked OS372. I initially thought whether they might not be from the Friday evening cancelled flight but that was 376. 372 has not been cancelled recently... But maybe it left unloaded?
Either case, not good.
I've checked out passport control today. Transfer full, but not unusually so.
Arrival control from what I could see very manageable.
E-gates open in both.

I just had to do this myself (short overnight connection and too lazy/cheap/nervous to leave the airport and come back in). There are a lot of folks sleeping all around the terminal. Thank god the lounge opens at 4:45.

Mr FlyingBlonde was on a 9.30am flight and said the line was the worst he'd seen but it moved relatively quickly once he was in it (overall 1 hour approx to clear everything for a non-schengen flight). He's silver and was turned away from the priority area (he said it was heavily guarded and lots of other passengers were also turned away).

I was a little confused about this too... I realise that Silver isn't SkyPriority but I also thought it was correct that Silvers' use this area. He was turned away (perhaps they were checking boarding passes for the SP red square?)- will get a debrief from Mr FB after he's out of the chaos of his arrival airport. (In case there's any question, he was on a KLM flight.)
