Anyone have any clue whether B6 will protect you in J if your flight is canceled during IROPS? And if so, will they only do so on B6-operated flights, or would they protect you on other airlines? Not exactly getting my hopes up here, but I would be interested to hear others' experiences.

In my very limited experience, the answer is no. I was on a very, very delayed flight from LAX-JFK in Mint. I upgraded using certificates. When I called B6, I asked to be put on another B6 flight leaving sooner than my delayed flight, she said that I'd have to reapply certificates and that there was no guarantee that (1) there'd be space and (2) that the number of required certificates would be the same. I basically said thank you and stayed on my very delayed flight.

Ugh, that's what I suspected. Good data point, thanks for sharing.

Has anyone had any luck in getting their Move to Mint certificates extended?

Another way around this. If I book a flight before the certs expire at the end of 2024 for a flight in January and apply the certs before end of the year (it works), then you can still fly in Mint, right? Or would they go back in and downgrade you before the flight in the new year?

It wont let you apply the certificate for a flight past end of 2024. If it works for you, let us know!

Interesting...it shows me availability, but you're saying it won't apply it? Darn.
I am going to end the year with two unused Move to Mint certificates. Any way to apply them to the extra legroom front-row seat on AMS-JFK?
Anyone had any luck in getting them extended by a few weeks?

Used move to mint on a flight but seat was broken and would not recline at all. Hopefully I get the certificate back and extended.

Wow! Thats a game changer! When you book a ticket in 2025, does it give you the option to apply the MTM cert? Please let us know!

More "HUCA" than "game changer". The agent probably doesn't know what they're talking about.

I have no available certs to give it a try. Can someone report back?

That's weird, the agent was adamant that she was not misunderstanding my question and has had multiple customers book the cert for a flight later than expiration.

She even told me that if I do that, I can't change the flight in the future after the expiration date or the cert will disappear.

I assume you just tried it yourself?
