How much are they selling for again? 50k yen like the airport? I brought home several regular Nikka From the Barrel 2400¥.. that stuff is real easy to drink/ good to mix too...

NFTB is great but as it's easily available in the US I personally don't think it's worth the luggage space.

Picked up 3 bottles of BC from the favorite spot in Ginza. Sign said limit one per party, but I asked and they said I could buy as many as I wanted. They also had some Y12 minis, but I forgot at what price

So 23:00 local time? If they did have anything today I am sure it would be long gone by that time. Blenders Choice is not usually sold at duty free, you could have easily picked it up in the city.
