What is your Priority Club status?
Gold Ambassador

Were you happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
1st night - booked a king deluxe on points, we were placed in a king corner deluxe room
2nd and 3rd night - booked a king corner deluxe on BOGO rate. We were informed they do not upgrade us when using a voucher and therefore kept us in the same room as the 1st night. But they offered us free wi-fi, 2 pcs of laundry per day and free local calling.

What was your welcome gift?
A bottle of sparkling water, fruit platter, and a vase or a candle holder of local motif.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes - apple, dragonfruit and orange

How is the Club Lounge?
We were offered lounge access for VND 600K ($30 USD) per day per person which we declined.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Ambassador weekend rate was exorbitantly high ($235) compared to the special weekend rate the hotel was running inclusive of breakfast ($170). I had to use the expiring BOGO certificate. I will definitely return but will use $ rather than points.

What is your status?
Gold Ambassador.

Were you happy with the hotel?
Most of it.

What room did you book and what did you receive?
King Club IC and I got a King Club IC Pool View Suite.

What was good and what was bad?
The room was great.
The Club Lounge was pathetic, resort fee was a bit steep.

Value for money?
I got a good government rate which meant, with my upgrade i was paying half price for the most expensive room however the Club upgrade was just not worth it here.

Were you happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, definitely

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive
Booked Club room, received large family room which was not on a club floor.

What was your welcome gift?
A bottle of water, fruit platter, and a locally made candle.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes - banana, orange, apple, kiwi

How is the Club Lounge?
We really enjoyed it. Staff are professional, and look after guests well. Breakfast spread had plenty of choices. The afternoon cakes and sandwiches were good (and often we were the only people having them!). Evening drinks had an excellent selection - beers, wine and up to 20 different spirits. Snack selection was decent and constantly re-filled. ^

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
We managed to get an excellent rate of under €70 a night, and for that the stay was suberb value. I would not hesitate to go back for another relaxing stay ^

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked: Standard Room
Got: King Junior Suite
- Fresh fruit and water with a bowl of nuts. Water replaced daily.
- Free Wi-Fi
- Club Access
- Free film (naturally, didn't think much of Apollo 18)

- How are the rooms?
Large room on the corner, got 15th floor looking over the bay.

- How is the exec. lounge?
Nice, hot option for breakfast with canape in the evening. Only flaw was a few guests turned the lounge into a living room with the TV on full.

- What was good and what was bad?
+ Location right next to BART station
+ Very helpful staff
+ Freebies
- Room Service took ages

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes I would return but might try the Hopkins to compare.

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes!!

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked: Standard Room on POINTS
Got: Junior Suite

- How are the rooms?
Elegant, spacious, comfortable. The suite was essentially a huge room and offered nice views of the river. Bed was extremely soft and huge. Bathroom was equally huge, and had separate everything and l'occitane amenities. No complaints here

- How is the exec. lounge?
N/A, although the pool area was essentially a lounge

- What was good and what was bad?
Good:
Everything. Really impressed with the treatment here on points, especially given the rates here.
-Pool area is spectacular, especially considering this is Amsterdam....
-Service was stellar
Bad:
-Only the fact that I had to rush to leave for a flight home that included a CDG connection Would've loved a good 2-4 days there.

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes, I think it's my best cpp ever with IHG, something over 2 cpp considering my room was selling for 690 euros. I really dislike the commotion in the city centre here so the quiet location was most appreciated. I can see why the RAs are complaining over the minibar. Those bottles were very tempting....and the actual minibar offerings were lame.

- What is your Priority Club status? Platinum Ambassador

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Happy - not quite very.

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? King Club got King Suite.

- How are the rooms? Excellent few rooms - 2 WC, great master bath - renovations had taken place

- How is the exec. lounge? L26 - not bad. Decent breakfast selection and good evening drinks selection / hd. Staff were just excellent and very helpful.

- What was good and what was bad? Next to LRT station which is crucial to avoid the KL jams - walking distance to KLCC. Renovations continue in lobby and you can regularly smell chemicals being used (could be paint??). Club lounge staff and serena rest staff were ok - front desk and Amb desk staff could use some remedial training.

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return? Not cheap - about the price of NY Barclay - restaurant prices were ridiculously high even for Malaysia. Japanese restaurant ridiculous. Hotel does not offer free local calls for anyone, Ambassador, Club rooms or Suites - 2 local calls cost RM80 - that is a tad overpriced IMHO. Will be interesting to see if additional competition once the Hyatt opens brings some of these prices down. Likely would not return to the IC but rather the CP nearby - better value.

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Club Superior using BOGO, got that

- How are the rooms?
Newly refurnished, all in goods conditions

- How is the exec. lounge?
Average for breakfast & happy hour

- What was good and what was bad?

Good:
They found room available at 8am
There are no suite available, so they discounted 60K Korean Won (55$) from the room charge + free sauna
Very good Fitness center, pool & sauna
Staff friendly, respond quickly all request
Location: you can get directly to/from hotel - airport by KAL Bus for just 15K Won/one way, Coex mall & Lotte duty free attached.

Bad: Nothing really

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes, definitely

Meh

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked: Standard Room
Got: Standard Room with a fruit bowl and some artisan chocolates as an amenity, free internet as an ambassador

- How are the rooms?
dated, traditional; good views. comfortable and clean

- How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

- What was good and what was bad?
Had to ask for my welcome amenity to be delivered; only received turndown one night. Gym is tiny and in the basement. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Was on Nob Hill for a conference; no reason to stay on Nob Hill otherwise. The IC SF is much better.

Platinum Ambassador

Were you happy with the hotel?
Yes, very

Which room did you book and which room did you receive?
For 2 nights, Club room (40EUR surcharge/night).
1 seperate night/stay, Deluxe room (checked in too late to be bothered with club)
All booked as Superior room on an opaque rate.

How are the rooms?
Good sized, well-maintained room. Deluxe room seemed to be newer and more modern than the Club room.

How is the exec. lounge?
Decent food, but small choice.

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Nice bathroom amneties (Local Korres brand, not elemis)
Free internet (only for club room, and even they said only 1 hour/room, it was ok to keep asking)

Bad:
Breakfast at cafe seemed to attract a cost, but spread there is spectacular (we booked rate w/ breakfast for the separate stay as brunch... it worked out as brunner!)
Club room seems more worn compared to deluxe... but doesnt have to face the highway (Acropolis view!)

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Excellent value with $$ and would return at the same rate. Opaque rate was 65(no breaky)/80(w breaky) EUR/night without club. Some bargaining pushed club access rate down to 40 (instead of 50).

Were you happy with the hotel?
sort of... defo annoyed by the price.

Which room did you book and which room did you receive?
Booked Deluxe room with BOGO (but because I almost did a walk-in due to change in schedule, I had to book for Superior and have the hotel manually change it to Deluxe, and upgraded to club). FD had no idea what I'm on about so I had to get guest relations to sort it out.

Partial Bosphorus view for 1 night and full for the sunday night.

How are the rooms?
not as big as i thought, but the full Bosphorous view room has a open bathroom.

How is the exec. lounge?
Decent food, good service.

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Free internet for club room, breaky at cafe ok

Bad:
Took a LONG time to sort out booking. FD has NO CLUE why I can/should change the BOGO booking to deluxe first then do the BOGO and AMB upgrade.
Saturday night was uber-expensive. (compared to a fri-sat BOGO night)

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
For the rate i paid, no. for the rate i was supposed to pay (some 275EUR for deluxe room + BOGO cert, perhaps). 50,000 points? maybe-same price point as 275 for deluxe it is.

Yes

Which room did you book and which room did you receive?
Cant remember... i think King Bed Deluxe Suite. Received Executive Suite. Not sure if that's what we've got. Fell asleep straight away....

How are the rooms?
big (given that i'm used to euro-sizes), sort of worn tho.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Free internet for AMB, House car easy to come by... new and comfy

Bad:
no self park option. don't offer adapter for borrowing.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
so many options in the greater LAX area.... maybe. reasonable value given the house car (replaces cabs if breaky/dinner place is nearby)

What is your Priority Club status?
Platinum Ambassador

Were you happy with the hotel?
Yes - very much so

Which room did you book and which room did you receive?
Booked King Deluxe Resort View on points (at lower rate in transition period to new point values). Upgraded to King Oasis Poolside Exclusive

How are the rooms?
Excellent - comfortable bed; huge bathroom; great balcony

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Great rooms
Beautiful resort
No resort fee if booked on points
Internet as part of resort fee
Good dining options
Fruit and water delivered to room

Bad:
As an Alliance resort, it does not participate in the new earning structure so there's no points on incidentals
If on paid stay, be aware of self parking charge and resort fee

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Great value over Easter period on points - most Scottsdale resorts were charging in excess of $350/night.
I've stayed here a number of times before, but previous stays have been as RA. The only real difference was the suite upgrade and $100 mini bar credit.

Booked Luxury Suite 1 King Bed; received same with View

How are the rooms?
Huge - great living room, bathroom and excellent view

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Great rooms
Loads of facilities in hotel
Good location

Bad:
$20 resort fee (and internet seemed quite patchy)
No fruit/water delivered (admittedly it was only a 1 night stay)

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Absolutely - my favourite Vegas hotel at the moment. Advance purchase rates via PC website are good value
