What is your IHG Rewards Club status?

Were you happy with the hotel?
Yes. After many years as RA I have recently been downgraded to A and actually the difference in treatment was less that I had expected.
Which room did you book and what upgrade did you receive?
Classic room on a corporate rate, received an executive room (I have regularly had this same upgrade as an RA, although have also at times had a few suites)
How are the rooms?
Decor a bit fussy, but very comfortable bed and decent work desk.
How is the exec. lounge?
Did not receive access
What was your welcome gift?
A box of Deans shortbread cookies.
Did you receive fruit and water in the room?
Yes, 4 clementines and a litre of water.
What was good?
Location, quick check in/out, very comfortable bed
What was bad?
I had to pay for the mini bar!
Value for the money? Would you return?
Yes

How are the rooms?
Room was nice, good views of the city. Welcome fruit platter, bottle of red and white wine and 4 water.
How is the exec. (club) lounge?
Not allowed
What was good and what was bad?
+ Nice rooms
+ Excellent location
+ Quick checking in
+ Elite welcome
- No lounge acces (but expected)
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Definitely. Booked already in Jan/Feb and March for a couple of days but with club acces

Were you happy with the hotel?
Yes, extremely. Best overall Intercontinental I've stayed at.
Which room did you book and what upgrade did you receive?
Booked basic king room (using points for rewards night), and was upgraded to executive suite, with club access!
How are the rooms?
Huge! They are extremely large. My room had living room with a hallway leading to bathroom and bedroom. The executive suite is approx. 800 sq ft.
How is the exec. lounge?
Nice, quiet, with a great view of Boston. Plenty of snacks and refreshments. Decent liquor selection (booze, beer, wine) from about 5pm-9pm.
What was your welcome gift?
No official welcome gift, but the suite was a gift in itself.
Did you receive fruit and water in the room?
Yes, plenty of fruit and water.
What was good?
Very professional staff, immaculate rooms, and a great overall experience.
What was bad?
Nothing. No complaints whatsoever.
Value for the money? Would you return?
Absolutely.
