Hello!
Long time lurker finally signed up.
I'm an airport nerd, I collect hotel key cards (I've been told it is an odd hobby, I always ask the hotel first), and have a bad case of fernweh.
I am lucky to live 5/6 hours away from a hub for every major airline.
Although I tend to fly out of my local as they have been getting better and better with pricing.
I do about 1 international trip a year. (This year, Tokyo!)
Mostly Domestic and Lots of Road trips! (Thank you Hhonors)
I look forward to learning and chatting with you!

New member from Kansas City. My wife is the big traveler. I've piggybacked a lot of her work trips.
I've been lurking here for awhile. Mostly to interpret and understand the benefits she has as a Diamond Medallion for Delta. She usually doesn't have the time to dig into maximizing her benefits, but I find this type of thing fascinating.
Is there a glossary out there somewhere of all the acronyms alphabet soup? I've slowly caught on from reading posts but its like another language.

Another option, which I sometimes use, is simply typing the acronym or abbreviation into Google.
Welcome to you and the Mrs.

New member from SFO! It's the first forum I've joined in ages, but given the amount of time I spent here, it's about time...
I've been bit by the travel bug, and it seems all I can think about these days is low-cost fares to interesting new places. My wife is strangely amused by this new hobby and is super supportive, which really demonstrates how awesome she is... Anyhow, so far I've lined up weekend trips with at least a day of tourism to SYD, HKG, and SIN. Hoping to have fun while racking up some elite miles. All United, we'll see how it goes.
Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi
I am Jo and I have just joined. Currently living in NZ and making six monthly visits back to UK so am looking for help/assistance with Air New Zealand and Virgin flights.
Have previously worked in the travel industry in the UK (TUI UK and Ireland, including Thomson Airways) so have a little inside knowledge.

Hi all. I'm a newbie from Melbourne (Australia). If I could, I'd fly all day every day and I love hanging around in airports...and I thought I was the only one.
Looking forward to learning more from all of you.
