Do you want to go by facts why this case is? 72% of so called tourist visa arrival in USA from India and other countries stay past their authorized stay. 42% of the F1 student visas violate their status by illegally working, skipping class or not attending the school at all. Not just from India but many other countries .
For data on overstays see https://www.dhs.gov/publication/entr...verstay-report . For non-visa-waiver countries the most recent year average is about 3% (page iv); for India it is about 1.3% (page 13).
There are also many people who overstay in India. Quite likely a larger percentage.

These are Fox News facts, not factual facts. They contain a lot of truthiness.

Its ok to be divorced from reality but you really dont have to double down like that on a public forum when presented with facts.

The requirements for Indians citizens applying for US non immigrant visas to declare pretty much everything but the date of their last intercourse has been in place since the 90s. Nothing they did to to the visa application process has changed the overstay rate in a significant way

Recent eVisa procedures for Canadians visiting India (tourist)
Hi everyone,
I am trying to determine if I can apply directly to the Indian Government eVisa site (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/) or whether I must to go in-person to BLS in Brampton, Ontario which covers the area in which I reside (https://www.blsindia-canada.com/).
I am looking to accompany a colleague to BOM or DEL (they will go onward to their final destination).
Thank you for any help you can provide.

I have a multi - entry Indian eVisa (one year).
I now wish to take another trip to India arriving a couple of days before the end of validity and staying another 15 days.
Do I need to get a new visa? If not, how is the exit process handled?
I always appreciate help with my wandering

Indian evisa arrivale xpereince in Bangalore airport.
After you land, don't just stay in line to see the immigration officer, go to the 2 tables with 2 pens and fill out an arrival form. I had to wait around 15 mins as there was only 2 pens with 10 people trying to fill out the arrival forms The international passengers already had E-VISA form already in our hand. Then stay in line. Their fingerprint technology maybe one of those from 50 yrs ago. I had to keep trying it both hands repeatedly and got yelled at even though I tried my best. My hand was dry. Then they ask you question about why to india and who are you etc .After that you will hear a very loud stamp on the passport.

I am flying BA to BOM soon. I applied for a 5 year visa. It asks me for the "Expected Date of Arrival". It is an overnight flight, so I have put in the day after I depart, since that is when I am likely to arrive.
Howevr, the print-out states "Journey Date".
I just want to check if anyone has had experience with issues with the airline in these circumstances? Are BA likely to question why the "Journey Date" is the day after departure?
TIA

100 countries, and I'm really stuck on India's process. US citizen, tourist, <30 days. Touring Delhi, Agra, Jaipur on my own.
Attempted the online visa, but stuck at 'reference name', etc. The definition is providing the name of someone I know in India. I do not know anyone.
Am I understanding that I must apply prior to arriving as the US is not one of the countries that VOA is available? If so, any suggestions for a 'reference name' workaround?
TIA!
