Lol.. dunno what would happen.. all hell would break lose..

anyways, after a try of peaceful resolution for the trouble they gave my mother, and no response what so ever from their end, I have decided to finally sue them this time.. Let's see what the consumer court thinks of my case..

I think this is the end of my flying with Jet ever..

Sometimes Jet does bend its rules. During my last trip, I made a cash upgrade on a JetKonnect flight. I had pre-booked a meal, so I called up the call centre (well before 8 hours of departure) to cancel the meal, since it would be anyways be provided in the business class. I was told to write an email to info@jetairways which I promptly did. However, I get a reply telling me I will not get a refund, without any reason stated in the email. I replied with two points - I will go to consumer court for this, and I will stop flying Jet after being a loyal customer from last 8 years. To my utter surprise, Jet agreed to refund Rs.200 which I paid for the meal.

Still can't believe its not a prank!!

9W is good for one thing-turning 0% earning classes into 125%/150% earning ones. (X/R/C class on AA )
Their award chart is confusing and probably compensates for this.
(and India isn't exactly the best place in the world to transit.)

For me paid has been over 3 years. Although I have taken 10-15 Internationals and a few domestics to burn my miles. Down to my last 500k now.

Din know threats work.. I am wondering should I send them an email threatening them or should I just have my dad's lawyer file the case..

The stakes were quite low in my case. In any case, I would not really have sued them for 200 bucks. I think what worked was the threat about not flying in future..

I still love FLYING 9W!

I still love FLYING (!!) Jet Airways. That said, ground staff has no clue and does not always speak the truth.

Um - not sure if this is the right thread but here goes.
I was scanning revenue as well as award (econ as well as premiere) tix on BOM-BLR and back for November for a wedding i have to attend with Dad - all of a sudden today, prices have shot up, and Y award availability on the full service flights has disappeared with red "N/A" sign instead of "SOLD OUT". What gives!?

Even Y says N/A? That sounds a little weird.
