Anyone ever come across "Diet Limca" or "Diet Thums Up" in Delhi? Or do they not make them sugar free....?
I am getting sick of diet coke and coke zero! Have you come across any place to buy them in the UK yet? |

I have never come across a Diet version of either yet. How much I love Limca though! Best soft drink IMHO.

And as for Limca in UK, not checked it out myself, but I strongly suspect Southall/Hounslow would be odds on possibilities for stockists. Or oop north in a local Indian shop in Birmingham perhaps... |

Coke wanted to kill these brands when they came to india, Thums up specially since it was direct competition to the Coke brand. however, when sales dipped, they realised killing india's no. 1 cola (thums up) was not easy and they revived the brand. that said, they haven't messed with the magic formula yet, however, they don't seem intent to invest further in the product variants. unless a mc donalds kind of glocal strategy comes inside the co, where they may decide to take Thums up to the global stage....
I wish there was a diet one though. Just feel soooo guilty guzzling a can! |

I excercised restraint and just got myself a bottle when I got back to HYD a week later ;) |

Come on friends. We need your support on this. From being at the top of the airline groups we have been banished to the middle. A simple vote is all we need on that thread mentioned above. ^
It's not just the moving down of our forum. The new name sounds clunky. AoI is such an elegant name, and I-BD doesn't have the same touch.. We've built up our community on the AoI name (even our Chai Stall is named after AoI), and letting it go now is a bad idea. |
