Already have a Dell M4600 bought new recently, but it's too wide for my current bag, so I'm putting it up for sale - still using an old Toshiba...

How is the Dell xps 15z. Sleekest windows based PC out there. Good spec and 15"

I was thinking about one too - but then the time for me to learn the new OS would take too long, so need to test one out side-by-side first, before jumping to Apple.

The time taken to learn the new OS is actually much less than you'd expect. Basic usage of the computer is pretty self explanatory, even if you've never seen a Mac before... The fact that most programs on PCs are now also available on Macs as well means that you don't really have to worry about learning a completely new set of programs...

If you want to get advanced with the computer, it gets a little more complicated. I discover new features every day, and I've been using a mac for 3+ years now... The amount of information on Google is more than sufficient to figure out pretty much anything you need to do.

Also, Terminal is great. It allows you to directly input commands into the Unix OS that is behind Mac OSX... That means that pretty much everything is customizable if you know how to do it. It gives you some of the advantages of Linux without having to deal with a relatively complex user interface - and yes, Max OSX spoils you so much that Linux seems complex after a while ;)

I can't imagine going back to a PC. They're just such a headache to use.

For example, HYD-FRA-BOS-FRA-HYD was fully dumpable by adding a specific segment on Bahamasair and using UA codeshares...

Even on 9W, the YR on HYD-PNQ-HYD is dumpable by adding a short jetstar segment.. The savings are very small though, so I stick with AI... I'm sure that other 9W routes can be dumped as well. The YQ used to be partially dumpable using an IT Red interline, but that hasn't worked since they got suspended from IATA the first time.

Sticking with AI . Does it mean that you were able to more YQ on AI

I logged on to FT today after being away for a few weeks and noticed that the name of the forum was changed from "Airlines of India" to "India-based Airlines". When and why did this happen?

It's horrible, no? I tried to organize a petition to get it changed back, but it was shot down :(

I agree. Can't quite explain why, but Airlines of India does sound a lot cooler (and more majestic) than India-based Airlines to me.

I will support a petition to get the name changed back to AoI.

We need to keep things organized - it is such a hodge-podge of posts nowadays...
