*G for 19k EQMs. 3 year validity period. The offer is unbeatable.

The rules of the program are a little quirky, yes. For example, you must credit all *A flights where you use your *G benifits to A3. But overall it's one of the best programs in the alliance (in my opinion the best).

Also, shouldn't you know the answer to your own question? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/17385268-post42.html :D :p

How do they enforce this? For example is you show the Gold card at a lounge, how do they know or if you show your card at the checkin counter to get bag fees waived.

I'm not exactly sure to be honest. I think it is that after a certain amount of times that you break the rule, A3 just cancels your account. Then you don't have *G status any more, so you can't use the benifits :)

Do you have it from your US days? And pay the $60 annual fee each year?

Did they come up with this recently? I started with them earlier this year, but never came across this.

It's been around as long as I remember. However, it started getting discussed on FT only recently...

Does any Indian internet provider have a plan for unlimited pre-paid MiFi in Bombay? I would love this to be able to use my iPad on my family visits.

I cannot connect to the wireless network at home in Bombay provided by BSNL. I have called them, but, no help. The wireless network works fine for the Mac at home.

Thank you.

No, 19k - with A3.
Details on the thread in my signature.

And the reason that I think that Mac>>>PC is because the user interface is a trillion times better for things that you do on a day to day basis.

What would be a similar software on the mac to Outlook for business emails?
