Any suggestions on what tourist site etc. will be open around then (foreigner-friendly) and a good place around that to take them for a dinner? Thanks for suggestions!

I personally dislike it, but all my foreign friends seem to love Bukhara at Maurya for dinner. Personally I am a Varq fan, if looking for Indian food.

For shopping a safe fixed price option that is also foreigner friendly is CCIC - central Cottage industries emprorium in CP. Lots of Indian handicrafts from all over the country.

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about starting an aviation blog. I was thinking that if I got some other people to blog with me, a considerable amount of content could be created. I was wondering if any of you guys would be willing to write a (~500 word) post semi-regularly, or even regularly. Opinion, news, trip reports for extraordinary trips (like EK first or something), FFP stuff, etc.

So if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM. I'll probably be setting up the blog this weekend.

Thanks,
Rohit

ETA:
Thanks to the 4 people who have agreed so far. The more the merrier, there's plenty of content to go around!

Guys how many of you are from Delhi. I will be Delhi at least 2 weeks each month for now. I would not mind meeting any FT's for a drink^ and share stories.

GlobalAeronews
Aeroflyer
Globalaeroblog
More suggestions are welcomed :)

No suggestions for names at all? :(:(

And congratulations to the 3 people who have agreed to join so far!

Just another 8 or 9 left ;)

Send your PMs to me if you want to join...

It's hard to suggest a cool/catchy name without knowing the specific focus of the blog. Anyway, here's a generic name that godaddy says is available: theaviator.org (.co, .us, .info and others are also available)

Flash mobs are so 2010.

Or maybe it took until now to be offshored to India :p

Savage25, there's no need for such savagery. Flash mobs still happen. Like in the Dubai airport just last month.

5 people signed up now. More are welcome.

In addition, I've decided that the name will be Aeroblogger.com.

Cheers,
Rohit
