Then why do people try and push past me every time I am standing at the Jet ticketing window at DEL. ;)

no clue....but perhaps they want to get a ticket before you so that they can board before you to keep their luggage next to them....:D

but seriously, its got nothing to do with airports....i have noticed a general trend of ignoring lines here in india....i see it all the time....

hey guys....does anyone know if any airlines in america offer travel coupons or vouchers????my younger sister will be traveling across the US next month & since i'll be paying for her flights, i thought rather than booking individual flights it would be better to just give her a coupon booklet or something similar....

ThAAt AAirline used to do these travel coupons..but they had to be issued in India (or whatever foreign country). I have not recently heard of anyone else offering coupons.

One more company I would check is JetBlue. For some strange reason I feel they have offered coupons in the past.

I believe you have to buy these from the country of residence. So best to call a local TA in DEL?

Depending on the alliance of the flight into the US, she maybe able to get a US airpass. I think Star would be best. Even the airlines could issue this I think.

Now how do I get a generous brother?

thanks....will look into star to see what is available....

i guess when your sister is 10 years younger than you then you always end up treating her like a kid & taking care of her, no matter how old she gets....:)

Keyser--the TA's can sell a VUSA fare-- has to be booked in the country of origin and is like the *A airpass.

I get really annoyed when people try and push past me when they have seat numbers! Its as if they will suddenly close the airplane doors while people are still boarding or someone will take their seat!

It is a mindset transferred from years of travelling in buses and trains where the early bird gets the best worm.

Waiting to see a towel or a hanky on a plane seat to secure a seat for others in the party.
