Wow how busy are the flights today! Need to get back to DEL today only and every single airline is quoting silly prices!

Can anyone see another option which I might be missing?

No chance on the AI one. Not paying that much to travel Y on them..... I guess 9W is an option. Did you see any fares in biz?

i have seen some interesting situations on the egg veg/non veg thing in domestic flights

i have been in many 9W and IC flights (early 2000) where the non veg breakfast option was egg (no chicken sausage, etc.) - have seen many  westerners opt for the non veg option and then argue with the FA that they wanted a non veg meal and not egg
(FWIW for most desis egg = non veg)

AI's 787

the very first 787 in AI's colors declared an emergency but landed safely - was due to a sensor problem

First AI 787 flight

the article goes on to say this was only the 3rd production 787 to take to the air

oopsie... the aircraft barely got to 9000ft and then quickly returned to base...

Still, these are testflights... nothing surprising.

A couple of days back, I just posted my first ever TR on another popular forum. Today, I have replicated the same report onto the TR section on FT. Do have a look: Gold’s Own Country & The Neighbours – a Kingfisher Experience via BLR

Your feedback & comments are welcome.

Cheers,
